Edit: It is now 2022 and we have a 2 y.o. that we take here almost every day to use the playground, run amok on the grass, the gazebo, and join the soccer Shots league that plays here a couple of times a week. There are other families that come and go, so there are plenty of opportunities to interact with other parents and for out son to meet others. In the mornings you can grab coffee aton the north-Northeast corner of the park. In the afternoons and evenings the if a great Asian food place for lunch, dinner, or a bubble-tea snack. Can't say enough about how great Lincoln Park is!

Read moreOh my gosh!!!! I moved into Tremont in 1988, right after Nursing School. Worked at Metro many years. Our place was a double, up and down, on W 11th and Starkwether, facing the park. We were around the corner from and our yard backed up the Merrick House. It was "the purple house" don't know if it still is. We were in the bowling league at Dempsey's, lol. Anyway, I was part of Tremont West when we just getting started and trying to put our ideas into action. Kudos to all of you that came after us. You added your visions to ours and Lincoln Park is amazing! (I almost cried looking at the pics.) Tremont was the best place I ever lived! Would move back in a second...
Read moreLincoln Park is an amazing place. Such a wonderful park. The absolute best thing about that park is that there is the most amazingly beautiful and sweet lady that lives right across the street from the park. She is very unique and is literally the kindest...most loving...and the most compassionate person you'll ever meet. She brightens up every room she walks in and her energy and smile is utterly addicting. I'm so happy to have met her and to have had her in my life for what time I was gifted. I have faith though...that in the future we can come back together again as friends.
