One of my favorite live music venues and bar in the city! I went here for the first time a couple of months ago and it is such a gem in Cleveland! The bar has a cool set up, and the drinks are stellar. The bartender who has been on staff on the nights I’ve gone… she has shorter hair and glasses.. is probably the best bartender who has served me. She is always so kind and patient and has made me some creative and tasty drinks when I’ve asked for something thats not on the menu. She is great at making sure all the patrons are served and hydrated and makes sure everyone is feeling safe and taken care of. Coda has a diverse set of artists that perform here and their open mic nights are something you’ve gotta go to. Coming here and seeing local musicians perform reminds me of how much talent and variety of musicians are in our city! Definitely worth checking out if you need a place to get a bomb drink or catch some local talent!

January 2024: My husband and I were visiting the Cleveland area and were looking for something to do on a Wednesday night. I did a quick search of LIVE MUSIC TONIGHT and this club popped. It was their open mic night and we figured, what the heck. And we're so glad we went!

At ages 59 and 69, we thought we'd be the oldest folks in the place but we were wrong. The club was packed with local musicians and music lovers of all ages and although not all of the acts were of profressional quality, it was a supportive and loving audience and much of the music was very good.

If you live in the area, make it a regular stop. If visiting, add it to your MUST EXPERIENCE list of things to do.

NO FOOD AVAILABLE IN BAR. You’re allowed to bring food in. The website makes it sound like there’s food for purchase (“Stop in for some late night eats,“), otherwise this is 5 stars. Valet stand is right at the curb where the stairs lead down to the bar. You’ll see valet signs (traveling northwest on Professor) right before you get to the driveway to the valet lot.
