Cleveland Public Library - Jefferson Campus — Attraction in Cleveland

Man o man I have a lot to share about the library downtown. It spans across two buildings. The original building has a special collections area with some really old books. Also there’s a full hi tech-scanning laboratory? at your disposal with supervision. For any artist or photographers with a large subject/image to make copies of, This is for us! This was my second visit. The second building has ten floors, throughout the entire library is an awesome and informative staff I’m wanting to become a part of more with each visit. There’s plenty of quiet space to relax and read, study or draw. There’s some cool spaces to hold a class or present something. The staff spends more time loudly discussing their personal lives with one another than doing their job. While here, I heard staff discuss personal concerns with one another as well as their opinions of patrons. They act more like rowdy kids in study hall than professional adults. The staff sets a horrible example for the type of culture and environment that is expected of a library and its staff. The building is clean, but it is consistently cold.
