An awesome small quiet spot with lots of seating options, and pretty good food that won't break the bank for a chill afternoon lunch with friends. Has great vegan vegetarian options. If you like the quiet outdoors and won't mind relaxing with a cold fruit beverage or tea while studying or reading a book, their outdoor seating is awesome as well.
Parking can be tough during busy hours, as is expected for the area. Menu options cannot be modified.

I love finding little hidden gems like these scattered around Cleveland because they show the diversity of delicious dining options available.
Their menu shines when it comes to vegan and vegetarian menu options, and overall the other food options are not bad and will definitely leave you happily satisfied at a great price point. Their variety is also pretty surprising, since they offer Poke style bowls, wraps, and other options in addition to their ramen. But their menu shines when it comes to vegetarian and vegan options. Teas, coffees and drinks are OK, and their signature fruit teas are refreshing.
One of my favorite features is the dynamic seating options. They have limited cozy indoor seating in different areas which makes it really awesome if you have a small group of friends. At the same time outdoor seating is great all around the front and side allowing you to relax enjoy the vibe of the surrounding area.
Parking is on the street and was good when we were there, but I can see how it can get a little annoying during busy hours. Service was pretty awesome, but note that they are not able to modify existing menu options.
Overall a really nice chill spot to get away for an hour or two to relax with a book outdoors, or chat with friends and catch up....
Read moreNot Tamura's poke, so yeah, I'm disappointed with the poke. But, honestly I haven't found anybody in the area serving up poke like at Tamura's or at grocery stores in Hawaii. Closest I've found is at some Giant Eagle "Market District" fish counters.
Poke (the good): fresh quality and well fileted tuna. My son also had the salmon and absolutely wolfed it down.
Poke (the disappointment): basically it isn't poke. With the exception of the spicy tuna, the protiens aren't marinated, which is what poke really is, bite sized marinated meat. A purest might argue poke = cut meat, but functionaly in Hawaii it means marinated meat, kimchee clams arent cut meat, little marinated octopus aren't cut, yet they're all at the poke counter. Here, instead, sauces are squirted on top via a ketchup bottle as an afterthought. Subway style fillers, you can load up your bowl with anything other than poke. Portions of "poke" are disappointing, particularly if you're used to a Hawaiian poke bowl, which is simply poke and sushi rice.
Ramen (the good): I had the spicy ramen. Excellent, tastey, full broth that sticks to your tongue. Tender delicious pork (which is hard to find around here)! Noodles had a great texture and excellent bite. Portions of ramen and pork were great!
Ramen (the disappointing): Not enough broth! Please buy bigger bowls, don't cut back on the noodles or pork, and no need to add anything other than more broth. I loved the portions of everything else. The soft boiled egg was overcooked, a very minor mistake, and honestly could have cooked a bit in the ramen bowl if it had sat a couple minutes before getting to me.

Read moreI had a super strong craving for vegetarian ramen. Vegetarian ramen is tricky because ramen is usually made in a bone broth, so restaurants have to be able to make a great broth without meat or bones in order to get a good vegetarian version. It will never be the same flavor as ramen, but each restaurant has their own way of making the broth, so each place you try can be pretty different in flavor.
Now to be fair, this place came up in my Google search for vegetarian ramen, but when I got there, they only had vegan soup. They didn't call it ramen. It had the noodles, broccoli, bok choy, and some balls that I couldn't identify (they tasted like fish so I didn't eat them). I added the eggs as well. I found the soup to be pretty bland. It really needed something to make it more flavorful. I know vegan cuisine isn't their specialty, but vegan food does not have to be bland! Sadly, I was pretty let down with my soup.
I am grateful that they have an option for vegans and vegetarians, but the recipe needs improvement in my opinion. The steam buns are very good. The staff is very friendly. I'm sure this is an excellent option for those...
