Michael's Diner At Shaker Square — Restaurant in Cleveland

Had to change my rating. I'm trying my best to be fair. I've been coming here for years. Except today when I showed up for my carryout order, the guy(I believe he's the manager) was handling a table plus, finishing up my order. He takes a pen and receipt to the customers table then proceeds to go directly to cooking my food where he touched all the ingriedients and toppings with his bare hands. He was rushing since he was servicing the table and cooking my food. He finishes up, then puts my order in the bag and handed it to the lady working the register Here's what upset me the most. When she got to me I asked why he wasn't wearing gloves when touching my and is that normal? She just straight lied to my face and said he washed his hands before touching my food. But, I literally just saw him servicing a table, touching a pen and receipt, then rushing back to the grill. Who knows what else he touched. Maybe if she didn't lie and apologized, or said they normally wear gloves, or almost anything else, I would have at least felt more accommodated. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be back. I can't eat at a place where they touch food in that capacity with their bare...

I work on Shaker Square and have been to Michaels Diner plenty of times! But the past several times, the food hasn't been that great and the service.....NOT good. I go in to pick up my order and there is a customer in front of me and two behind me. Why did the lady at the front desk tell the two behind me to step up like I wasnt next in line. When it was finally my turn, she acted like nothing was wrong. First of all, I was next in line, not them. She proceeded to tell me they are regulars. AND??? At this point, I just want to get back to work. She then tells me my total. $14.48. Wait, what? For the double deuce? And an extra pancake? Wow. Okay, I give her $15.50. And she hands me back $1. Tells me to have a good day. I said can I have my two pennies. She rolls her eyes. Lady, its MY MONEY! NOT YOURS. The pancakes were so thick and chewy. Bacon, burnt. Eggs, rubbery. Only thing good was the sausage and homefries. Sorry but yall just lost a...

I normally order from Uber eats and every time the food is hot and good. Just wish i could order blue berries with my pancakes instead of having to order a extra set of pancakes just to get them. Nothing doesn't taste premade. The price is pretty fair. Only thing i don't like is the High-fructose corn syrup. Hopefully they can get that without it. Updated the last time i bought food from them through Uber eats in between styrofoam i seen a yellow liquid in between the boxes. I call and asked them what it was but he seem he couldn't understand what i was telling him so i told him i will post it. I didn't order any juice and the bag was tied. He told me they don't have Styrofoam so what are you putting the food in to go? I didn't eat it because I couldn't identify...
