Cleveland Food Guide: Must-Try Eats & Hidden Pitfalls 🍽️💣

If you ever travel passing by Cleveland you must have a bowl of pho here. We are traveling from east coast to Michigan and passing by Cleveland. We want to have some comfort food . I searched on Google reviews. When I saw some review said that there is a live bird and kids in the restaurant i immediately realized that this is the restaurant which we want to go. Because it is definitely running by a family. We ordered fresh summer rolls, P 8 & P 9 for pho. There is crispy thing in the fresh summer rolls and we love them. The fresh summer rolls are very big and tasty. The peanut butter based sauce is delicious. Two bowls of pho are in big portion and super flavorful. The best pho compared to other I had before. The restaurant is inside a building next to a Asian Supermarket. Check the photos I took and you won’t miss it. The price is also very affordable. If they didn’t charge a high price for the atmosphere then no reason to complain about it. Highly recommend.

After trying several Vietnamese restaurants around Cleveland, I think I might have found my favorite one here. I ordered their bún bò Huế and cà phê sữa đá. I find that the coffee here is nothing compared to the real Vietnamese coffee in Vietnam, but that’s okay. Their bún bò Huế was delicious compared to the other places. First of all, the broth was flavorful, I almost finished the whole bowl of broth! They have almost all of the meat(except for the blood gelatin), plenty of noodles, and the right types of veggies. I have to say that this is the first 5* I have given to a Vietnamese restaurant in Cleveland. I will definitely come back to try their other meals!

Food was fine but customer service needs work. I ordered online and went to pick it up - stood waiting at the podium and one of the servers comes walking out of the kitchen. She looked annoyed to start off with so that was a red flag for me. I told her I was picking up my food - instead of politely speaking to me or handing me my food, she basically snapped at me and aggressively pointed behind her to the table where other take out orders were instead of just approaching me like a decent human being. How was I supposed to know that I was allowed to go back there and just pick it up myself? There was no sign saying that? And then when I tried to look at which order was mine, she was pretty much breathing down my back and hounding me and kept asking “is it yours? Is it yours?” You’re the employee… you should be the one checking instead of having your customer look through other orders, especially when there’s no sense of direction. Very disappointed with the customer service and whoever this waitress was, this happened on Sunday, 8/14 around 1pm - so this person should definitely...

I truly love Pho Lee, I order very often and just recently went into the restaurant for the first time. The food is amazing, never misses! The portions of Pho (aside from the beef bc they now only give 3-4 very thin sliced peices) is amazing however the portion of their korean bbq ribs is ridiculous. While it is EXTREMELY delicious its just not worth the price. Both in house and order out portions were extremely small. $17 for a small amount of rice and maybe 7 very thin and small pieces of meat. Its delicious but serving size of the ribs needs to be addressed. It was also very cold when i visited. However i did witness what seemed to be extreme regulars who didn't want a menu and really enjoyed. I love this place and will keep...
