I have a group of friends who get together for food and drinks monthly. We try to go to different places each time and in February, one suggested Borgata. I was skeptical at first due to the parking situation in Little Italy, but she insisted that their food is superb and that it would be worth the hassle! I thought… superb food? At a bar?? Whatever… ok. So 8 of us show up and I ask my friend what she recommended. Without hesitation, she said the blackened chicken Alfredo. Sure. Turns out that half the table took her advice and ordered it. The rest got burgers. When they brought our plates, I had a couple of quick reactions: They serve it with spaghetti instead of the usual fettuccine. Compared to the others who ordered the same dish, my piece of chicken was very small, which actually made me privately upset that I wanted to point it out to our server, but decided not to. I bit my tongue, then a slice of the chicken after. OMG!!! Anger gone! So tender. So flavorful. Perfect charring! And, OMG!! The 3 pieces of garlic toast that comes with it is no toast that I’ve ever had before! If the dish didn’t come with chicken, I swear that toast could’ve been the feature! It’s seriously that good! The Alfredo was rich and creamy and the spaghetti actually worked well. If I had to be picky, it’s that they don’t have a great beer selection. But I like food better than beer anyway, so I didn’t mind. Borgata, I...

Seriously don't know where to start. At our table I said, I think this is in the top 10% of all restaurants I've ever eaten at in my whole life. They are a standard for amazing food and portion size and flavor and quality.

I don't care if my review doesn't flow ... I'm writing this while sitting here because it's that good.

Please forget that it doesn't have chandeliers or white linen napkins... These people are nice, fun and truly care about your experience.

I can't describe how good it is here. When you go out to eat you want delicious food (which we're all in search of) and a place that plays amazing music. They nailed it.

The owner is here and is involved and personable, obviously takes pride in his establishment. The employees are happy to work here.

As we sat here regulars came in and they knew them by name. I almost thought I heard (Norm! ... Cheers reference).

I wish I had taken the pictures of our meals, but this is after the fact.

I'm simply saying, don't hesitate. The prices are so much lower than most other restaurants. The portions and extreme high quality makes this the biggest no brainer.

We are visiting from out of town... That's the depressing part of this review. We'll have to wait till we visit...

My family was having a get-together and we landed on Borgata by recommendation - and I will tell you, we made the right choice! This bar has a warm neighborhood vibe - nothing too fancy, but the instant you walk in, you feel welcome. Other patrons were talking with each other at the bar, familiar songs would play on the jukebox and everyone would sing along, etc. We had a party of eight and they set up several tables for us. Our waitress was Hasha-Marie and she had our whole table laughing the entire visit. Frank, behind the bar, came out and gave the ladies at our table surprise stocking gifts and even took a picture with my mom!

We had a wide range of appetizers and main meals - mussels, bruschetta, calamari, pasta dishes and some fish dishes and everything was great. Also, the pistachio ricotta cheesecake was amazing!

We all left the bar and have been talking about it since! Big thanks to the whole crew for making it a night...

I have a group of friends who get together for food and drinks monthly. We try to go to different places each time and in February, one suggested Borgata. Good food in a generous poportion. Except the bowl of italian wedding soup was pretty much a child size portion. Quiet place that plays a mix of 60-70 s music and now and then a crooner. Older crowd that is behaved and quiet. Smaller place with about 8 tables and bar stools with backs around the long wooden bar. The waitress made us feel like the good side of the family. Entrees 14-19; sandwiches, salads 11 -14; soup 7-8. As always in little Italy parking is scarce. No wheelchair access.

Straight up, we don’t drink. So, you ask, why did we go to a bar? Well, there was a water main break in front of the restaurant where we planned to eat in Little Italy. The gentleman sitting on the bench in front of the closed restaurant said “go down the street to Borgata’s. You won’t be disappointed.” He was right! We weren’t! Great food, fantastic bartender, friendly patrons, wonderful cook! (The bread pudding is OUTA THIS WORLD!)
