I had a very long work week with no days off and on top of that, My friend is in town from out of state. I really felt like I didn’t have the energy to come out. I walk into this establishment and this Beautiful Soul behind the Bar Named Krystle Made me feel so welcome when I walked in. Usually whoever is working in places like this don’t pay attention to people like me because I don’t drink. I used to be a barber and I feel like every haircut I did was artwork to me. Krystle treats every drink as if it’s a priceless piece of artwork she created. I never seen a person who makes drinks look so proud about the drink they made. After talking to her she really brightened my day. I did tell her that I can tell she’s an artist at heart. And she proved me right by the drink she made me. She got an idea of what I like. Let me remind you, I don’t drink alcohol. She made a drink out of this world and it tasted like kool-Aid. She called it the Fay Special just to make me feel special. And it worked. If you are having a rough day, you want to celebrate, if you want to relax or reflect, ask for the...
Read moreI absolutely loved waiting 15 minutes just for our waiter to even acknowledge us. And then taking another 20 minutes to get our drinks to us (which were disgusting and nothing that we asked for). My girlfriend decided to do the drink wheel because it seemed like a fun idea...wrong. She choose relax as her mood and the two descriptions she choose for her drink was bubbly & citrus. They then proceeded to bring her a spicy drink (I believe called Diablo) that was not bubbly nor had citrus in it. And to me spicy isn't very relaxing. Anyways she still drank her drink and we enjoyed the atmosphere but were ready to leave within 10-15 minutes after recieving our drinks and our waiter was no where to be found. After finding him he took another 25 minutes to give us our check. My favorite part of the night was during the 25 mins it took him to give us our check I saw him in the corner on his phone giggling. So in total we spent about and hour and a half to get ONE ...
Read moreThis was our first time and it definitely won't be our last. We sat inside and fell in love with the atmosphere. Dark but not too dark, ambient lighting, good music, neat artifacts and decor (with nods to Twin Peaks and Stranger Things). Right on! Our bartender, Cassie, was lovely and walked us through our beverage choices. There are a few choices of beer on tap, a menu of drinks to choose from and a section of the 'menu' where you can tell them what you are looking for in terms of flavor, type of liquor, etc and they can make something based on your preferences. The hubby ordered a sazerac and I was pleasantly surprised with a gin drink called a gimlet. Both of our bevvies tasted so good. We could have stayed for hours. Maybe next time! Thank you for being so cool,...
