Read moreI went to the Treehouse on a first date, & then again a month later (with the same guy!) to watch game three of the Eastern Conference Finals. It had a totally different vibe each time: the first, it was quiet & relatively uncrowded; the second, it was packed & loud & full of happy Clevelanders. Both times were great.
The service is pretty good here, & the servers really hustle. Even when it takes them a bit to get to you, it's hard to be too mad at them because it's clear that they're busting their butts to get everyone taken care of. The food is standard bar fare - soft pretzels! loaded tots! - but it'll keep you full & in need of Tums. There's a large seating area in the back that seems to be more restaurant than bar on slow nights, giving you a few options in terms of vibe. Basically, it feels like a dive bar that's not dirty or embarrassing. A good neighborhood spot.
I like the Treehouse a lot. What...

The mean girl dog behind the bar whos obviously having a bad day asks me for my ID. Taking her bad day out on me she tells me she will not serve me without my ID. I eat and drink at treehouse all the time and I’ve been served by this bartender. She ruined our dinner plans and we left with our green $200 cash.
We found Rowley Inn last night a place I’ve never visited in Tremont because I frequented treehouse and let me tell you I got so drunk and ate so much. The food was way better than anything I’ve had at treehouse. I found my new regular spot! We almost spent the whole $200 and I left a huge tip for the attractive bartender who was so nice and got me drunk. We stayed til close it was a great night at the Rowley inn! I highly recommend you visit...
