My friends and I stopped in here with a craving for Thai food. Overall, I am glad we chose this place, and I would recommend it to anyone with even the smallest hankering for Thai cuisine! For appetizers, we tried the Ty Fun Delight, which had fried tofu and spring rolls; as well as the Wonton Chicken, which was a deep fried meal. They were good for what they were. The Wonton Chicken felt a little bare, like there just wasn't enough flavor. I also tried the Tom Yum Soup with tofu, and it was very delicious. Exactly what was described. For meals, my friend and I both ordered the Masaman Curry, so I included only a picture of the one I got with chicken. The curry itself was good and had just the right amount of spicy flavor. The rice portion felt a little small, unfortunately. My other friend got the Pad Thai, which was also quite delicious, if a little on the dry side. I tried out the Thai Iced Tea as a drink, and it was the perfect complement to the heavy and rich tasting curry. Overall, a positive experience!

At first I thought Ty Fun was going to be yet another one of Cleveland’s ubiquitous but unremarkable Thai restaurants, but we ended up having a pretty tasty meal. Freshness was the name of the game, from the lightly crispy - but not dry - spring rolls and fried tofu, to the citrusy and umami-packed papaya salad (though the romaine lettuce was an unusual addition), to the wok-kissed stir frys. My only real gripe has to be the profusion of extra crunchy green beans that infiltrated nearly every dish. The service meanwhile was beyond lightning fast, the staff were super friendly, and the space was hip and bright and clean. Definitely a solid choice when you’re in need of a southeast Asian fix and don’t have time to wait.

Date night ( mid-afternoon 🤡) @tyfuncle Ty Fun Thai Bistro in Tremont. Nice crispy Prawn Rolls. Which are Deep fried shrimp wrapped in spring rolls wrapper. Nice subtle sweet Sauce. Tom Kha Soup which is a Thai style coconut soup with chicken, lemongrass, celery, corn, mushroom, onion and lime juice. Great flavor. Would have liked more heat. Panang red curry which is Cooked in coconut milk with mixed veggie. It looked like soup. My wife liked it very much. Ma Mung which is Sauteed with celery, onion, cashew nuts, pineapple, pepper, in chili garlic sauce. Again would have liked it to be more spicy. Overall a solid meal.

Was a great experience, it was a week day so it was chill but I can imagine a weekend very tight quarters. The services was good they weren't dancing or fire knives or nothing but they were polite . I got appetizer which they were bite size but very delicious, I had vegan / veggitarian dish which was great and a house salad which was also very great , my bill was about $72 dollar and I didn't think the place was really that good we did have a few drink so maybe that's a average bill . All in all I have no complaints about the services or food great off street parking and outside patio . I've had great Thai food for less with tremendous services and a entertaining atmosphere. I'm not trying to be to critical here again I have no gripe just observation like no Thai Servers, Bar backs or Dish washers, no Thai culture in the restaurant. I just think that these places have to bring the culture to life inside the restaurant otherwise I could have door dash for a fraction of the price and ate the same similar cuisine. Lastly I don't think servers should have long beards, I remember back in the day servers, cooks, chefs, had to be clean shaven has that changed with the decline in customer service? Ty Fun Thai Bistro was a cool experience on a Monday Afternoon I wouldn't go back , maybe definitely not a first choice or second or third or...

The food was good, as it should be for $19 per entree for average portion size. Service started out great, and we got appetizers quickly. Then time dragged on and on waiting for the main dishes. We had a show to go to and finally we asked the server if it would come out soon because we had a time issue. He said fish takes time (news to us for a standard piece of salmon). He took his time and eventually went back there, but never gave us an update or talked to us in any way. After another 10 min or so they came out finally, at least 40 min. after we ordered them... and they were warm. Not hot, so I wonder how long they sat back there. We shoveled it in and ran out of there after 10 min to get to our show. If not for a defensive and perhaps passive-aggressive server, it would have been a fine visit. Make sure you have lots of time if you order salmon, I guess. And no, they were not busy. One other table before we got there at 5:45, a couple more came in later. Three take out orders went out while we waited,...
