No 1 China Restaurant Clifton Heights — Restaurant in Clifton Heights

I was next door to here doing my laundry and figured I would go in and grab something to eat while my clothes dry. I order 4 wings with rice and a cheesesteak egg roll. I’ve always gotten cheesesteak egg rolls from here and loved them. As I’m eating my food I pull out my egg roll and it’s 2 of the taqutios pictured. I take a bite and it’s disgusting! It has some type of sauce in it. I go back in, assuming she got my order wrong, and explained to her that this is not a cheesesteak egg roll. She proceeds to go in their freezer and pull out a box of them, the same as the picture and says, “yes it is. It has steak and cheese”. I told her no it’s not and asked what happened to the old ones they used to sell. She just kept telling me that what she gave me was a cheesesteak egg roll. I told her it was disgusting and threw it away. I have never gone to a Chinese restaurant and been given some damn taquitos when I order an egg roll. The box even says FRESH BAKED TORTILLA! To start off with, this place is getting 1 star because it will not alllow you to post the review with 0 stars. The staff was unprofessional and just plain awful. After waiting for over an hour and a half, I called to check on my order, which they said would be another ten minutes. I asked them to take the tip off from my total. The guy was very rude, and said "Well, then cancel it, because I don't want to come." I said I still wanted the food. He argued back about bringing the food and that I should cancel. I was afraid they would spit in or tamper with my food so I cancelled. Ten minutes later, someone else arrived, offering a ten dollar discount. I told them I just wanted my money back. Shortly after that, they called me and were repeatedly offering $50 credit (my bill was 70) I repeatedly and calmly stated that I just wanted my refund and none of the food. They put me in the position where I had to tell them that if they did not refund my money, I would bring them up on charges for theft. Went to this restaurant because it was next door to the nail salon. Ordered chicken and broccoli slightly spicy. Nothing fancy. It tasted HORRIBLE! I took it back and said it was not good. The female started to argue with me that it was good. I clarified that it did not taste good and I wanted my money back. She then began speaking to a man who I assume cooked the food. Not sure what she said because the exchange was not in English. He got very angry and told me to call the police. I did not yell or raise my voice I just said it did not taste good. They continued to argue with me so I stepped outside and called the police as he suggested. Then he tried to say I ate the food. No sir, I took a bite which is how I knew it did not taste good. He continued to shout at me but the lady finally opened the register and gave me my $10.55, which is all I asked for.

No wonder they have no traffic. Bad food and bad attitudes are the best way to kill your business. I should have read the reviews before...
