My wife and I recently had mandi for the first time, at a restaurant in London (The South Kitchen, Hammersmith). It was one of the two best meals we had during our three weeks in England, which included some very high end places in London, Sussex and Kent. We never thought we could find such wonderful mandi in the USA. We found this new restaurant, Mandi House, in Clifton and went there without expecting much. The complimentary soup and salad was delicious. The bowl-dish they served in was actual stone and stayed hot for the most part of our meal. The tea at the end was worth waiting for. It was freshly brewed not out of a warmer or thermos. It was strong yet delicious and unsweetened, just how we enjoy it. They do server sugar on the side for those who want it sweet. It was intermittently busy while we were there. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the amazing authentic food. We will be back for...
