⭐☆☆☆☆ – Very Disappointed

I attended my grandbaby’s moving-up ceremony from daycare at the Mountainside Inn in Clifton. While this should have been a joyful and memorable day, the venue was a huge disappointment — especially considering we paid $50 per person.

My family had an entire table, and we were appalled by the condition of the setup. The table linens were stained, and the chair covers were not only dirty, but some even had visible holes. This is completely unacceptable for any event space, especially one charging premium prices.

I had actually been considering this venue for my 30th anniversary celebration, and I’m so glad I got to see it in action before booking. Needless to say, I will not be hosting anything here, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.

For the price and what we received, a local VFW hall would’ve been a much better option — and...

The owner is great and friendly. Honestly the place is reasonably priced for the space compared to other venues. BUT during our event we found the staff stealing our food. They were packing the food in foil looks like to bring home and the other half they would bring out. The food comes from an outside vendor/caterer. They were legit packing ribs. Like seriously? Family and friends were noticing what was happening. I had a 2 tier cake and more than half was still left over. When they brought out "the leftover cake" i definitely knew that there was missing cake. When I asked where is the other cake that i know thats not the only piece left over. They tried to play it off, went back to the kitchen and were like oh omg someone must have accidently put it away and brought out a huge part of the other tiered cake. The workers had attitude making a scene in front of people her name is Diana she was upset because she decorated before we came and we wanted to change what she did she didn’t want to help or any of the workers wanted to help at all only helped when we were almost done also you know the customer is always right but not with Diana it’s her way or no way someone please check on her and her attitude definitely loss a customer and won’t be recommending this place to no one since we want to have a good time not a miserable time Diana...
