We decided to try Toros for our Saturday lunch. We arrived around 15 mins after the opening hours, and were the first group at the restaurant. Walking in, there are many awards and accolades at the entrance, that sets up pretty high expectation for the place. I was mesmerized by the interior of the restaurant, very well decorated, created a perfect Turkish environment within the restaurant.
I was surprised to see them offering Lunch Special during the weekend, as most restaurants only do it on weekdays. But, upon request the do hand out the full menu. The full has some special Turkish Dishes, that are not listed in the lunch menu. Lunch special items do come with an appetizer and an entree, with side of soup or salad, plus tea or coffee. All that for only $15.99, really impressive.
We tried the several of the dishes, and all were super impressive. Really enjoyed the eggplant appetizer, the salad had a kick of vinegar, lamb was super tender, with tiniest Okra I have ever seen, and the chicken Kabob was also note worth.
Their are many servers at the restaurant, but seems to me, tables are not assigned to them. So, it creates confusion, and either we get asked same question multiple times, or at times no one shows up at our table for a long time. We also notice the person working at reception had no interest in guests walking in and leaving, as she was very occupied with her IG on her phone. So, they have some room to improve in their service.

Read moreI have since returned with a group and found that things are not as good as my original assessment. One diner had a long wait for her dinner while everyone else was served and the food has lost its edge of being superb.
Authentic Turkish Food in a delightful setting with all the trimmings. This well decorated restaurant has all you can desire in good food, service, and atmosphere. The cost is very reasonable. We went for lunch, a party of ten, and were given a pre-fix menu with more choices than you can imagine. It was in fact the lunch menu including soup, salad, appetizer, entrée, coffee and tea for $12.99. We tried the soup and salad, three different appetizers and three different entrees. It is not difficult to fall in love with the food. The lentil soup is out of this world. Our favorite appetizers are the Patlichan Soslu (grilled eggplant) and the Dolma (stuffed grape leaves). The all entrees were top notch especially the Doner Kebab, chicken & lamb skewers (kebabs) not to mention the broiled salmon. Their appetizers: hummus, babbaqunush, garlic yogurt, eggplant salad, spicy vegetable and kidney beans are served with Turkish pita bread. The lunch is available from 11 AM to 3 PM seven days a week. Whatever you choice you can’t go wrong. The restaurant is named after the Toros Mountains at the western end of the Himalayas. They contain many beautiful limestone formations, rivers, caves, and rock formations. Turkey is noted for its diversity and abundance in food because of the rich soil. The Toros restaurant follows the tradition of fine Turkish dining with a wide verity and many...
Read morecame here just about a week or two ago for a dinner party with some close family and friends a large group. we were seated in the basement which was small but cozy. the staff was pretty great with us. i ordered the sigara boregi for my appetizer which was so delicious! i really enjoyed the complementary bread that delicious and so fresh! it was so great of them to bring out more refills of the bread for us to devour. my entree i decided to try turkish delicacy, manti. i really enjoyed it truly. i’ve had manti before but it was afghani made. so trying it the turkish way was different not 100% but surely enjoyable. i loved the touch of lemon on top to cut through all that yogurt that it’s sitting in and oil. i just wish there wasn’t a puddle of oil sitting all around the meal because it makes it look unappealing and seems too greasy. i definitely do recommend this dish to be tried i know it’s not one everyone will love unless you enjoy beef dumplings and yogurt. it’s been so long since i was last here dining at toros and im glad i got to come back again to enjoy their food. i truly love turkish food...
