Montclair Deli — Restaurant in Paterson

They're ok 9/15/20 UPDATE: honestly, I really think that there food should be much better.. Especially considering the foot traffic that they got coming through. For beginners, I think that they should use shredded lettuce on sandwiches. Shredded lettuce makes for a better tasting sandwich...it holds the oil and vinegar much better. Much better than the big chunks of lettuce that there are using now. It's just small changes that they should consider...these small changes can make a huge difference. Food quality should be better..gonna drop them from 3 stars to 2 stars. This is based on the food...its really nothing special about it at all. Will...

idk. I am looking for that classic Italian cheese burger that i used to get when I used to live in Newark from the Chicken shacks and corner stores. the italian cheeseburgers used to be the perfect size cut in an Italian roll with enough ketchup, cheese and French fries. they did not make this Italian cheeseburger correctly. only gave me a couple of fries, literally and it was put together sloppily. they cooked it well hoever representation is horrible and not enough fries. ts sad i cant find good Chicken shack or corner stores that make them good as they did ... and this was back in the 90s and early 2000s :(...

This USED to be my FAVORITE Deli in all of Paterson! It no longer is my GO-TO spot, not because the food isn’t DELICIOUS anymore… Because they still have some of the BEST Deli sandwiches in the area. It’s no longer my GO-TO Spot because the Young Kids they have answering the Phone and Working the Register are BEYOND RUDE and IMPOLITE!!!!

I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, because anyone I’ve ever spoken to whether while picking up my food, or elsewhere… people have expressed the same concerns.

No One wants to Spend their Hard Earned money somewhere they aren’t respected...
