Hi my lovely people .Vivi's will get a 5 out of 5 from me. If you guys did not know Vivis Bubble Tea , Bubble Tea is a drink that combines black tea, tapioca in the form of small balls or pearls, and some sweetener such as condensed milk or syrup. This spot located in Clifton was greatly needed as its probably the third spot offering it , more so focuses on it in this spot . I mean it would only make sense after it is becoming popular all over the world. Although it is possible to find innumerable versions of bubble tea made with different types of tea everywhere. I went here specially because I am from Clifton and love supporting small busineses . When I arrived here there was parking nearby I walked about 10 steps from where I parked. Once I opened the door it was super cute spot, really good energy ,postive vibes. There was a family infront of me . I was greeted by 2 employee's . The 2 employee's were super sweet. When I arrived I was greatly received there is a menu right as you enter so you can look at it while whoever is infront of you finishes up . And you are free to see . It includes many common popular drinks but are not limited to exotic fruit flavors, with milk, with extra components such as other topings also in short, it offers an endless variety that includes our favorite one element in common: the gummy balls (made with tapioca / gelatin that give the tea that āchewyā characteristic to Bubble tea. The wait time is average like 15 minutes while they mix all the ingredients and get your drink together . For today I choose 3 drinks to go which were prepared and placed in a a frosted film bubble tea cup with the cup sealer , (you know just in case you drop it while you are going to drive lol ) and given my straws and yes they have cupholders just in case . The 3 drinks I choose were oreo creme bruleee , taro milk tea, and blue galaxy . Say no more go ahead and give them a try tell them you're favorite rater recommended you guys and if you're lucky you'll get a member points card like mine (inserted here with all my pics ). They have been a lot more liquidity lately and I usually like it more frozen so I just asked for extra ice this time and they looked at me weird but I didnāt find it a big deal. When I tried it, it just tasted like foam like with a pieces of ice. I genuinely wouldāve just deal with it and ignore it but I whenever Iād take a sip I just couldnāt finish it. I had a feeling it had heavy cream on it because of the texture. So I go back and kindly tell her āhey Iām very sorry, I donāt want to be a bother but is there a way to get a refund or maybe if you could make it again? I honestly donāt know your policyā the second she heard refund she looked at me upset and got an attitude. She kept asking me āwhat do you want me to doā to which I said again and kindly āis there a way to make it again, or what can I doā. She pretty much had a hostile body language and kept shaking her head. She then tells me āI canāt like do you even know the policy?ā which I said āI donāt, thatās what Iāve been askingā. She says she can make it again and asks me what I want then I tell her I just want the same flavor. I was trying my best not to say it tasted bad because I felt I was going to come off rude. She looked even more upset and kept shaking her head and saying āwhat do you want me to do?ā. Iām honestly not gong to argue about a slushy so I just gave up and told her never mind which she now tells me I can make the same for you again. Which confused me cause she founded it a problem before. I told her to leave it. I honestly wouldnāt go far to write reviews and genuinely wouldnāt let that bother me but it does aggravate me that I tried my best to be as polite because as a barista myself, Iāve had my fair share of terrible costumers. But to go that far and catch an attitude and escalate a situation and being hostile when im simply trying to understand what can be done about the situation in the kindest way (since every store has different policies), more than upsetting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT SEVERE FOOD POISONING. I've gone here multiple times since they've opened and never had an issue. However, I ordered 2 drinks for myself and my husband yesterday. Within 45 minutes of finishing the drink, my husband immediately began to feel unwell. He had had very little to eat so I assumed maybe it was too much on him. However, a few hours later, I too began to have symptoms. I'll spare you the details, but we were both projectile vomiting and taking turns on the toilet all night, and even today we are still unwell. I called the store yesterday to inform them that we were ill from their beverages, and they told me that it was not possibly their fault because "our drinks do not contain dairy and our tapioca pearls are boiled which kills the bacteria". They didn't even ask for my number or take down my information to pass along to a manager. I am highly disappointed in their response as they should take these concerns seriously and review their processes to ensure no contamination is occurring. We will be reporting this to the health department and will never be coming back here again after how ill we became from drinking...
