I found this hidden gem last summer after I drove by past it. I turned around and ordered carryout. The order was prepared perfectly and was delishish. Quality of ingredients were impressive! The staff was very pleasant and I was immediately impressed. I invited my parents and sisters to check it out with me on a Sunday after church. We have made it our usual routine to have a meal here now every Sunday. We are all impressed by the cleanliness, service, staff, and the food! Very pleasant, warm, welcoming atmosphere and impeccably clean! They decorate tastfully for holidays too. Prices are comparable to others alike. They have a Handicap ramp to the door with rails, which is great for my mom. The parking lot is a good size and the restaurant is conveniently located on a corner of a main road and a side street. Try this one out! You will love it's family friendly feel and large menu with food cooked to order that doesn't take a long time and is really delightful.. Can't say enough about the friendly, helpful, and attentive staff! I give this place a 10! Suha, our waitress is the friendliness waitress I have come across and is very attentive. We have built a good relationship and she knows all our standing orders as soon as we walk in the door, hot coffee is on its way to our table. She is very helpful and a sweetheart! Thank you Suha for making our...
Read moreSo I was there Friday, September 24th between 6:15pm and 6:30pm (order number 6891, âserverâ, Val) picking up my carry out. Upon entry I was not greeted or acknowledged. They were not busy so it was nothing for SOMEONE to say âhelloâ or âbe right with youâ! In fact when she came back my way she STILL walked passed me as if I wasnât standing there. Next, a dark haired waitress walks right pass me (never utters a word) but rather acknowledges the other lady at the counter. Lastly, still not even a simple acknowledgment, the waitress who FINALLY waits on me, immediately jumps to the aid of the woman standing within armâs reach of myself and I had to interject and let her know I had a carry out order to pick up! She then tells me sheâll be right with me so she could proceed with the other person. Fortunately the other customer acknowledged my being there first with a simple âplease take her firstâ! Very long story short Iâm not one to always make things about black vs. white but being the only one of color in the entire establishment and NO ONE acknowledges my being there whatsoeverâŚ.what am I supposed to think? Needless to say this was my first visit and I felt extremely uncomfortable so I will not be back and will forever remember that experience and will share with anyone whoâs...
Read moreThis place is vibrant! Wednesday at noon and nearly every table and booth is full already. Even the counter area has numerous occupants. Retirees, construction workers, groups of friends, families, all represented. I think most diners, by nature or design, are a bit noisy. The open kitchen certainly adds to that volume. All the conversations, the servers hustling back and forth, this is a hive of activity and the ambient noise level is commensurate with it. The hostess was very friendly, polite, helping bus tables and smiling every time I saw her. The servers were flying, purposeful, easy to talk to despite all the customers around. They all got the tables cleaned and ready for the next guest at an amazing pace. These are dedicated professionals, not summer break workers. The menu is really big and there is a list of daily specials as well. I couldn't memorize that if I had to. Got a gyro with fries. When it arrived, my first thought was, "That's a lot of food." The fries were thick, hot and unsalted (who needs high blood pressure?). The gyro was big, stuffed with meat & veggies almost to overflowing, well, and thankfully, restrained with aluminum foil. Both were delicious. All that for under $12, tax included. I'd definitely entertain return trips based on...
