Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton Township

HORRID SERVICE AND UNSYMPATHETIC 'MANAGERS' Clinton Twp/Groesbeck location, not Hall Rd.

I am homebound, caring for my elderly Dad. Ordered 2 pizzas, a sub and salad - $29 Got a PARTIAL DELIVERY after a 100 minute wait. No sub, lukewarm pizzas - far inferior to other Hungry Howie's stores. Delivery gal was apologetic and asked ME to call the store for compensation. She made excuses for the delay due to over problems.

Horrible interaction with the 'manager' Kristen. She offered me a FREE sub and FREE delivery (stuff I PAID for), NO credit for my generous tip . etc."Take it or leave it. Do you want your FREE sub or not???!!!"

Consumers: Go to another Hungry Howie's and avoid this store. DO NOT PAY TIP online. Give them cash (or not) when your order is delivered/screwed up. Refunds are not possible on their 'system', per the manager. I'm going to try Mangan's 2-topping $7 pizza Sunday deal. They serve REAL hamburgers for $4.50 If I am going to blow $30, next time I'll get 2 sirloin steak dinners with zip and mushroom sauce, perfect rice and fresh green beans from Bath City Bistro. These pizza places are out of control. They serve glorified hot bread for $30. Get real or face your inevitable...

Sad, I used to honestly love Hungry Howies but this location has gone off the edge for me. If you order a round pie, you should be fine. But for some reason this location loves taking square pizzas and cooking them in a pool of oil. I usually always ask for LITE/LIGHT OILED BOTTOM, because I actually don't want 1/8 of a gallon of oil on my pizza. Ive heard their pre-made, but by god if enough people ask for lighter oil you would think they would get the idea. What other pizza place hands you a pizza, you get home and the whole box is soaked in oil, all the way to the height of the side walls, soaked. Its a shame, once I asked for light oil and I got one with light oil, and it was SO DAMN GOOD. Guess I got to just go to other places where the box isnt wet to the highest point of the side walls when you first open it, this location has a serious problem with oiling square pizzas. So much oil is just disgusting. I will not...

Clean place and customer service is decent but man hungry howies pizza is just beyond terrible now. I get coupons for free pizza every now and then from here and just throw them away it’s so bad and I have been eating pizza at least 1-2 times a week my whole life. Hungry howies used to be one of my favorite pizzas but they changed there recipe and now little Caesar’s destroys them.

Howard you didn’t do anything wrong your place is clean and everybody was nice they need to change back to the old recipe and I used to love the Cajun wings. Some of these corporate places just try to change something that’s not broke (think Wendy’s trying to get rid of spicy chicken nuggets) and ruin what was already great in the process. Panera used to have the best chicken noodle soup then they tried to make it healthy now it taste like trash. I always wish I was at those corporate meetings to say who thinks this is...
