Holy cow. I have never left a review in my life. The service here makes me question how they are still in business. My daughter and I are in the midst of some hardships so I wanted to surprise her with Wendys. I ordered her a four piece chicken, nugget kids meal with french fries and a junior Frosty. I ordered myself a six piece, normal chicken nugget and a one medium fry with a medium chocolate Frosty. When we got up to the speaker, we were not greeted. Someone just stated with an angry voice “we are in the middle of a shift change. It’s going to be about 20 minutes.” A shift change at 1039pm? I kindly stated, “Ope! I just have an online order… It said it was ready for pick up.” There was about a 60 second pause after I said “hello?” The reply was an angry, “pull up to the second window.” We pulled up to the second window and nobody came. After about three minutes, she came to the window and just looked at me. Finally, I said “we just have an order that said was ready for pick up“ she asked my name I gave it to her and she walked away, my daughter and I both watched as about three people stood around while she angrily threw food in a bag. She closed it with a sticker, handed it to me without saying anything at all. I reminded her that we had Frosty’s on the order. She said well that’s gonna take a minute. I politely replied, “well that’s all right. We’re patient.” She came back and handed me a small vanilla frosty. I kindly reminded her that there were two Frosty’s on the order. Her reply was, “well we’re all out of chocolate.” Again, so as not to make her any angrier (which I’m not sure why she was) I said “well that’s A-OK. I’m OK with vanilla.” She stared at me awkwardly for a long enough time that I said, “can I please have the other Frosty that I purchased?” she walked away and came back and handed me the vanilla frosty, then close the window and walked away. Again, no greeting or farewell. I was just taking back by the experience overall. Naturally, since my hungry and excited daughter was waiting for her food. I decided to open the bag before driving away. When I open the bag, I saw that food was not even placed nicely in different containers. She just threw random chicken nuggets and very little amount of french fries into the bag. There wasn’t even a separate kids meal bag in there. I tried to get their attention, but there was nobody in sight. I had no other option but to drive away. I have never been so frustrated or confused in my life. This is one of those situations where I had to pick and choose my battles. I also have a little one watching me. So I chose to be the bigger person and drive away. I hope another customer doesn’t have the same experience with a different temperament than I have.
It doesn’t end there though. When we got home and open the bag completely, there was quite literally a few french fries no more than about 12? There were a mixture of random spicy chicken nuggets and maybe a few normal ones. My daughter cannot have spicy food as she is young. There was only the little amount of french fries and I had ordered a medium fry along with the fry that should have come in a kids meal. Just totally bizarre. Worst of all, everything was cold. I am not sure how that happens.
Sorry for the long review, as I stated before I do not leave reviews I don’t think I ever have before. I just don’t want anyone to have a similar experience that we had or get sick from this food.
I lost out on the money I spent on this meal and had to just make my daughter Mac and cheese. I ended up tossing the frostys too for fear of the employee doing something strange....
Read moreI was in the drive thru today and when I checked my bag I was missing a burger. When I asked the workers to check my bag because something was missing and I wasn't sure which burger they refused. Then I was told there was nothing missing in my bag because he was the general manager and he packed it myself. Well he clearly made a mistake and instead of simply rectifying situation he made things worse. After minutes of arguing with me at the window and telling me how I am an unhappy person and how he makes 55 thousand a year compared to my 35,000 ( which how would a stanger know my salary?) tossed a cheesburger in a bag and told me to have a good day. How did he know it was a cheesburger missing in my bag that he refused to look at? It wasn't even a cheesburger that I was missing. So then I questioned how he knew it was even a burger and he continued to argue about my order that was clearly wrong. As a general manager he should have difused the situation instead of going back and forth with me. I had my receipt, and the bags of food, and hadn't driven off. Read moreI ordered delivery from Wendy's. The online ordering process was frustrating. I would be almost done placing my order thru doordash and it would reset or freeze. But after a few tries, it finally took.
My order arrived fairly quickly, within 20 minutes. The third party doordash delivery driver handed me my food and drink, both which was sealed with a sticker, proof of freshness and safety sealed.
My burger was just as I ordered it, extra lettuce, a single tomato, bacon strips added on and wrapped in lettuce. It was so juicy and hot, like it just came off a summer bbq grill.
The frosty!! I ordered two tiny vanilla frosties. My dog devoured hers in more minutes. What a nice treat for her. Whereas my frosty was used to dip my fries in. The fries were hot, crispy, lightly salted and the sweetness of the frosty combined with the salty of the fries made for one delicious treat.
Overall all I would rate this 5/5. I am not rating Wendy's on my normal 10 scale, because I did not go to the restaurant. So since it was delivery only, I can only rate on my experience with Wendy's.
