Went in for lunch with my daughter and the hostess immediately blurts put something about closing at 2:30pm (it was 1:47 so I’m not sure what her deal was or why she felt that was important to tell me before even saying hello 🤷🏾‍♀️ and apparently I wasn’t the only one. Other people at the table weren’t too pleased with her either). Nice decor, very chic well lit, and clean (the chairs need to be taller btw). VERY attentive wait staff. Mediocre and inconsistent flavor on the food. My veggies were the only thing that he made perfectly. The WOW roll was small but good(my toddler ate about half of it) however it was not very tightly rolled (I ended up using a fork because it was too loose to grasp with chop sticks- and no this isn’t my first rodeo with chopsticks either I’ve been using them regularly for almost 15 years).Small portion sizes and really crunchy rice (🙄🙄). A medium steak apparently means well done (😒😒 not remotely amusing. I’d like to enjoy my meat not struggle through chewing it overcooked) and I’m not sure how but he made the fresh shrimp crunchy and rubbery (put that on your resume). The wait staff outshined the chef and the weird hostess chick. I’ll be back but it’s only because this is the closest thing to good sushi I’ve found in this state since I’ve been here. But there is a lot of room for...

This was one of the worst lunch experiences I've ever had. I will say that overall the Waitstaff was respectful and the clear soup and edamame was good. However, those were the only two things that we recieved that were even semi edible and enjoyable. The hibachi chef had no energy and overcooked everything he touched. The scallops were rubber , we ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done. We ordered a grilled squid and it stank and tasted of old fish and was overcooked. All the ingredients they used seemed to lack freshness. For example, when the chef cracked an egg on the grill it came out a solid coagulated mess unlike something i had ever seen and he proceeded to mix it into the rice. They failed to properly cook something as simple as fried gyoza leaving one side completely uncooked and soggy on every dumpling . I ordered a bento box from the kitchen and my teriyaki chicken was murdered and even my steamed rice was alittle under and bland. This is a sorry excuse for a hibachi/ japenese restaurant especially at roughly $20-40 a head depending on what you order. Would highly recommend not wasting your money on this place and for you to find...

Been here 4 times , when we fly in over the years and continue to get talked into going here. I hope they have improved and get the same dispointment everytime. Ordered the calamari appetizer, because they don't have it for Hibachi. They were able to burn it and tried to serve it to me. The steaks are on the smaller size. Chiefs are on their last leg so to speak and attempting to go through the motions. If you wash your hands in the restroom, bring your own paper towels. The hand dryer only blows cool air at velocity that makes drool seem to be a speeding rocket. Food is poorly seasoned and was not prepared with love or pride. Sushi is less than decent. But they're located in Clinton, Mississippi; so they can pretend to be exotic all they want. I gave a two star, because I order plenty in hopes that one item will meet par. One usual does and my crew gets to try what...

Very nice decor. Spring theme. Clean and open. The Hibachi got me excited. Considering it's .1 miles from my hotel, I'm all in! Ordered filet and lobster. The house soup is a lesson on being minimalist. The salad was as well. Dressing was very Mayo and not a lot else going for it. The hibachi chef was very functional. Not a lot of flourish. He also cooked the vegetables last, which usually I prefer 1st. Noodles were good. Lots of onions. Rice was done to meet anyone's preference. Big portions of each. Filet and lobster were good. Filet was extremely tender. Too much salt on the lobster and meat, but very well in presentation. Service staff were nice. Little slow with some items and Super fast with others. Overall a good experience.

After waiting for over an hour to be seated, we had to wait thirty more minutes after being seated for the cook to come to our table. I ordered the steak and chicken dinner and my fiance ordered the chicken dinner with crab wontons for an appetizer. The chicken had a funny taste when I bit down on it and the steak was cooked too long even though I asked for medium rare. The wontons had a nice presentation but tasted strongly of mayo. The meal and wait was not worth the $67 ticket.

Dry not fresh sushi, dry rice, slow service, inattentive waitress who doesn't get special requests fulfilled (ie. dressing on the side), sushi ordered as sashimi came with rice, half a fortune cookie (did they buy the rejects?), broken LED strips everywhere. Sushi came before the salad and soup, and drinks. Even the ginger wasn't fresh. I don't like to complain and send food back so I didn't try.
