Los Parrilleros — Restaurant in Clinton

If I could rate ZERO STARS , I would ! Just left the restaurant. Firstly , I arrived around 20 minutes before closing and was greeted by the host, manager , whatever he was with a long stare . I responded saying , do you all close at 10 or 10:30 ? He replied 10 . He said I could sit at the bar . I only wanted queso and a margarita I told him . Before even sitting down , the host slash manager slash server bomb rushed me saying frantically, what kind of margarita? I said can I see a menu ? Order my drink and a queso . Queso was BEYOND COLD ! Told him it was cold , he could cancel it . Wasn’t paying for a cold queso . Halfway through making my drink he says bar is closed , did not make my drink and turned the lights . Other guests were still ordering and eating . He did not take. Or make my one drink and continued to speak a foreign language to other servers while laughing . Never again . Restaurant does not meet the Clinton vibe that I know...

"I'm still trying to process the disaster that was our experience at this Mexican grill. The food was absolutely horrible, and the customer service was even worse. We ordered off the menu, but when it came time to pay, they tried to charge us a different price than what was listed online and on the menu. It was frustrating and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic.

The state of the place was also appalling – it looked dirty and neglected. But what really took the cake was the food itself, which had a strong, overpowering smell of chlorine. It was like they were serving chemicals disguised as meals. We'd driven a long way with our family, hoping for a decent meal, but it was a huge mistake. The food was like garbage masquerading as fine dining. Needless to say, we won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I have been to this establishment three times and each time it has been better. Although some of these reviews don't sound too appealing, just remember that these same reviews help these establishments correct their mistakes.

With that said, I can't wait to go back!🤤 Their food is very flavorful and a lot of folks do not realize that these Mexican restaurants that pop up all around are Mexican-American style and not 100% authentic,l.

The only suggestion on the food is to make the guacamole a little less "hearty". The onions and jalapenos are cut too big and I think others would agree they too don't like biting into large chunks of spicy veggies/peppers.

The service was great but of course the lack of English plays a huge role when ordering. The atmosphere is great, the music is at a perfect volume. It's really bright in there and you can see everybody's flaws🤣 but who likes to eat in the...
