We were passing through Clinton on our way to Texas. So many things wrong here. There was so much product storage boxes in the dining room that it was very crowded looking and off putting. Service was very slow. Cash was offered for payment and the cashier asked if that is how my husband wanted to pay like she might not have known what to do with it. Then he had to ask for his change back because she closed the drawer and moved on. I went to get a table and all tables had only 1or 2 chairs at each table like there was a shortage of chairs. I have had pumpkin cream cold brew many times from other Starbucks and found this one lacking in flavor as well as short on cream. My order for egg white bites was filled with bacon egg bites. I took them back and stood there waiting for someone to help me but after standing there with employees passing me by I finally spoke up to the one who had been standing within 3 feet from me and ignoring me. I told her what had happened and I continued to stand there waiting for a response. With bacon egg bites in hand she lets me know that they are fixing my egg white bites. She did not ask for them back. So I went back to my table. I had already opened them before I took them back up to the counter so I figured like most restaurants they must not want them back. So I went back to the table where my husband decided to try them since they didn’t ask for them. I was told that since my husband had eaten the egg bites they would charge me for the egg white bites. I said no thank you. My husband was still waiting for his food. They said it had been put out on the counter. No names were ever called. We never saw it. The cashier who claimed to be the store manager has about the worst customer service I’ve ever seen and should definitely look into studying the menu more. I’m a Starbucks parter also, so don’t get me wrong, I know what a rush is like, but this cashier “manager” must not know how to handle pressure, because she was rude, and lacked that third place touch we’re known for. I nearly cancelled my order and left due to her attitude. Being busy doesn’t give any excuse to treat customers poorly. This is the worst Starbucks I’ve visited across the country, due to her attitude alone. The baristas on bar were friendly, and at least had the kindness to wish us a good day and safe travels, unlike the cashier “manager” who didn’t even speak to us beyond taking our order and rudely questioning me the entire time. Questioned me about being a partner, didn’t know standard drink items on the menu (ones that has been permanently on the menu for almost 5 years), didn’t want to allow me to apply my discount for my family members (whom I was paying for their items as well) - which I find humorous that she was questioning me, while literally standing behind the counter out of dress code. I can’t stress enough how this was a terrible experience. I hope she gets more training on empathy and creating a third place for all who walk in. Store could also use some training on drinks that include sauces, our iced PSL and iced WM both had the sauce layered on the bottom and not swirled into the espresso at all. Read moreI’ve order 2 venti dragonfruit refresher ( especially ) . And I’ve been waiting here for 30 mins without seeing anyone trying to make my drink. I came to check with them and they started blame on each other . They all said “ I thought you make it already “ and other girl said “ me too I thought you making it already so I throw away the order paper already “ . Even though I’m the only one who sitting right there without any drink and kept looking back to check for my order . It happens to me a lot , and it seemed like they don’t change the way they service . I totally understand if they were too busy and make a mistake about my order but in this case , there wasn’t a lot of customer that time and they were gathered up to talk with each other in a table so there is no reason for them to totally forgot about my order . I am really disappointed of them especially have to deal with this situation many time . No offense but the worker need to put more effort in what they are doing , because this is their job and they are careless about it .
