Abysmal experience. Online order due at 6:30, not received until after 7:30. Wasted an hour of my limited family time waiting for our order. Gave up waiting outside, went inside and found 2 more employees than the woman at the window said were working. Many customers had clearly been waiting a long time.
Only employee with any experience was the MOD. Everyone else was extremely young. Who opens a new location without bringing in experienced employees from other stores for a while?? I work retail. I understand the challenges. This was a complete failure of management.
Employees were walking back and forth between window and prep station a dozen times for a single order. Not even bringing the tickets with them to see what to make! You couldn't script a more comically poor process for any production environment. No one demonstrated any basic sense. Maybe just stressed and forgot training? Seemed like woefully inadequate training.
MOD was VERY overwhelmed and apologetic. Clearly cared, but too overwhelmed to think clearly that just a free drink doesn't make up for an online order being over an hour late.
Got home and 2 of 4 items were completely wrong! A burrito was made as a burrito bowl with the wrong sauce. A burrito bowl had 4 items that weren't ordered, rendering it inedible for the person who ordered it. Third item had one extra ingredient.
I LOVE Chipotle and I was so excited to have one open right near my home, but they have got to figure out how to run a restaurant. Trouble keeping up with online orders? Pause the online order system until you...
Read moreWorst customer service experience we’ve had in a long time. We came in to order with a teenaged son with severe food allergies, which we’ve done at other locations with no problem. One employee was great, he wiped everything down and changed out his gloves and was cordial. A second male employee became blatantly rude when we asked if he had switched out gloves before handling our son’s food. His allergies are severe enough we have to ask. This guy got agitated and tried to shame us because several people had joined the line (we were the only customers when we started to order) pointing out that “other people are waiting in line.” Food allergies are widely acknowledged as a disability these days, and the Clinton Chipotle apparently has no problem with discrimination. This obviously isn’t the first poor review for this location, so where is the owner or manager who should care and help train your employees? Love to hear a response. In the meantime, we’ll spend our money at Chick-fil-a. They know how to treat...
Read moreHorrible chipotle. I used to work at a chipotle and if it manager saw how this place was run, they’d fire everyone and restart. First experience: 7pm. Two hours before closing, dude was cleaning the grill, no fajitas prepped, no fresh salsa prepped, no steak on the line, no chicken on the line. Said it would be 30 min to get everything prepped. I walked out. Get food at Mo’Bettahs.
Second experience, 730pm. No fajitas on the line, no steak on the line, said it would take FORTY MINUTES to prep fajitas. Cause they didn’t have any cut. For a restaurant that is supposed to have food on the line, ready to go so people can come in and just grab and go, this location is trash. It’s new too, so they did NOT train their employees well at all. The manager looked to be 18 last time I was here. Makes me sad that there is no pride in their work or customer experience. I’ll gladly drive 20 min out of my way to go to a...
