This local hustles drinks you've already paid for, then they scam you on caffeine! The CS at this location beyond dreadful! The Broistas are expected to be upbeat, friendly and chill at Any Dutch Bros, in Clinton local they are rude, off-putting and look down on caffeine drinkers. The franchise owners hiring practices are not representative of Dutch Bro. Original Founders' Message.
The girls @night shift do not want to be bothered with helping anyone except special friends, paramours, and family only! They will serve drinks to those self-same people in cars behind you, before you even get your order prepared, when you are first in line! I have had numerous unpleasant transactions with the night crew.
I ordered 2 hot drinks , 2 iced drinks, they got it wrong all iced, they were halfway shut down on their espresso machine and didn't want to pull that many. Okay, I wasn't rude, I worked in CS before. I am somewhat understanding and can be a kind person at heart. The girl seriously gave the vibe of -"Why are you still in my line, what are you doing sitting there in your car staring at me ruin your drinks for? Go"! This was after one girl said I could have the messed up ice drink so I took a lot of sips and the other girl then demanded the drink back, gross! I had it for over 5 minutes. So I handed it back to her, if mad DB girl wants to throw used drinks away/give someone else okay whatever, not my prob!
Deets the brown haired big build girl working Aug 9th was sooo stuck up and rude, the other girl just seemed embarrassed by her. Place was an unholy mess; dirty towels and germ laden open/torn coin wrappers all over the prep area. Ignored the bad hygiene, I have seen many messes there before, so I overlook the obvious health hazards, the stinking sewer trap overflowing outside, the dirty towels, filthy counter, the unkempt workers. Maybe they got busy and aren't just cleaning averse. Life lesson: don't give benefit of doubt where benefit is not due.
I was waited for my corrected drinks. Then rude girl looked at me going ahemm, ahemm, so much hemming and hawing. "Why are you staring at me and what is it you are still waiting there for, can you just leave? So I can like get back to to talking to my friend who is behind you in line"? I still waited for her to do something that resembled a semblance of her job. She behaved as if I was there to serve her, tip & leave, not the other way around.
I was then given only 1 corrected hot drink and I had paid for 2. She didn't want to give me the other one! I had paid for 4 total 2 iced 2 hot. She was too inconvenienced to correct this simple mistake.
Then I saw they were dumping and pulling shots on the last drink which they still hadn't given to me, so I asked, "How many shots are in my 2 espresso drinks?" There was supposed to be 4 shots(per drink) but she replied "2". Then, when I said 4! She said, "Oh, I mean 4 yea 4." "Well", I replied, "You made me the wrong drinks, I want the missing espresso"! She said, "It is just a mistake, a human mistake." I can understand a mistake, yeah, but she wouldn't...fix her mistake. It's easy to fix, too; go put in the other two espressos.
She stuck her nose up in the air again, chuckled wryly and then said "I'm sorry if you're unhappy with something". Something? She said it in a way that made it clear she knew what I was unhappy about, and didn't care. If anything, she sounded amused at drama llama. I wasn't yelling at her or giving her crap about a mistake or anything. I just wanted a coffee drink, not some messed up rude situation with someone who incorrigibly acts like they are the Queen Broista of all Dutch Bros.
You don't know what people are going through day 2 day, you should always try to be nice and kind no matter what when you work in customer service.
I own some Dutch Bros Stock, I should dump it now before it starts to tank more, which it will if these franchises continue to hire such irresponsible and hella rude people who don't know the first thing about PNW coffee, culture,...
Read moreI frequent Dutch Bros so much so that most employees at Layton and Clearfield locations know my order as soon as I pull up. This location is by far the worst when it comes to service. I stopped here the other day on the way to my best friend‘s house to get us drinks and the girl at the window was extremely rude. I didn’t catch her name, but she had long red hair. My go to drink is a jungle love rebel. I was aware that the name was changing, but didn’t know the date for sure as I was told by my normal location It was just going to vary. When I got to the window, the girl with the red hair proceeded to tell me that the name had changed and I needed to get it right next time. I said, I had heard that it was going to, but wasn’t aware of the day and she told me it started that day. I said OK, I was told there wasn’t going to be a specific day and just to continue to ask for the jungle love until they let me know that it had changed. I understand they’re just informing people of the changes but there was no reason for her to be so rude about it. Unfortunately, I’ve never had a great experience with any of the employees at this location. They’re probably the least friendly out of all the locations...
Read moreI absolutely adore this Dutch location! I’m totally hooked and won’t be going anywhere else. When they first opened in late 2024, I met Jennifer. She was absolutely amazing! That’s why I came back later. I started meeting other employees like Zach, Jaron, Hunter, Aly, Jaylin, Bow, and Wendy. There were a few others, but I can’t remember their names. They were all so friendly and welcoming. I know they get busy sometimes and work really fast, but they always go the extra mile to fix any issues that come up. I make the choice to go out and get drinks from them. If I was going to complain and be inconsiderate, I could always stay home and make my own coffee. But I really enjoy the atmosphere and love the conversations I have with the staff. It’s the little things like that that make spending the money worth it. Thanks, Zach, for having the nicest coffee shop staff. And thanks to everyone else who makes my...
