Copper Mill — Restaurant in Clinton

Oh my goodness I cannot believe what we went through when we went here yesterday around 3pm and only about 4 tables occupied. I do have to say though Our young waitress and our really young little girl waitress did such an amazing job hands down very attentive and very kind. Now here comes the bad part We order queso and chips the queso was cold so I sent that back She brought back a warm batch I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger my mom ordered the Western burger both of them were cold when they came out as well. My niece ordered macaroni and cheese off of the kids menu She said it tasted funny Plus it looked like it was straight up out of a box which it was... It was incredibly dry Just couldn't believe it. I went up to the bar and told one of the older women what the issue was with our meals and that our salads hadn't been out before our food. No apologies were given She just kind of looked at me with a lost look I said we just want our food to be warm please.... mind you I was not mean about this at all just wanted our food to be warm when we ate it since we were the ones purchasing it. Then I go sit back down here this is where it gets better.... One of the other waitresses from another table walked by us purposely glared at us and gave us a dirty scowl blonde probably in her 40s just very unwelcoming so I went up and got a couple boxes from the other bartender that was up there She was very nice and very apologtic.... I just told her we would like some boxes because we don't feel welcome here after the way we were looked at. This is the absolute hands down worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my entire life and even when the food was warm it wasn't great very very disappointing. They didn't even try to make anything right either It just kept on getting worse and worse I like to go to new food places every single weekend just to see what's out there This is a hands down no for me and like I said it wasn't even attempted to give us a sorry or to...

We decided to stop in based on the good reviews. They were not at all busy. Menu is very limited, but had some reasonable choices. Unfortunately, service was really terrible. We waited and waited while every table who came after us got their food before us. I finally waved down our waitress and she sort of apologized and said she was usually a bartender and had a problem with the printer. No offer of discount or anything to make up for the mistake. We waited almost an hour, and still no sign of our food. Definitely...

We were visiting from Chicago and had lunch at Copper Mill with the family. I was really impressed with the food here. The cheese curds and fried mushroom apps were amazing. (Forgot to take the pic of that). I had the grilled salmon and husband got the smokehouse burger. Both were fantastic! Everything was fresh and well prepared.

The atmosphere inside is fine. They had a really cute outdoor patio that would be great for a nice day! Definitely coming back on...
