It was my birthday on October 1st. We decided that we would try Stouts Irish Pub, so we dined in-house. We really didnât know what to expect, but when we saw how big the tenderloins were, our chins dropped. I saw their advertisement online, but the pictures did not do it justice. The tenderloins were enormous and thick. All meat and breaded nicely. They were cooked to perfection. I couldnât eat it all so I brought it home. They were so tender that it nearly melted in my mouth. If anyone hasnât tried Stouts, you have to go. You have to see it with your own eyes to truly appreciate it. So it would be well worth your time to go and check it out. Happy eating everyone đThank you, Stouts, for the awesome meal.
In addition, today in 2025.. the 16th of June. I made an order for delivery. The sandwich was just as big. Maybe bigger. While I appreciate the size of the sandwich and the flavor of the meat, the onion rings and bun were soggy by the time I got it. I know that traveling with hot food in a plastic container and cold veggies underneath will make the food soggy. I had to replace the bun. The onion rings, for the most part, were good. There were a few of the onion rings that i wasn't able to eat. Most of the breading was soggy and fell off. Just a suggestion.. maybe put the veggies in a separate container. Otherwise, as usual.. it was very good. Still couldn't eat it all. Thank...
Read moreOn a Wednesday at 11 AM I stopped in for my first time. They have signs on the wall stating that they are on the Iowa Tenderloin Trail-- a list of the best tenderloin sandwiches in the State. I had the breaded tenderloin basket ($10.99). It is about 1/2 pound of meat, hand-pounded and hand-breaded in the restaurant. The tender, white meat was lightly breaded, and cooked to a light golden color. It was 2 1/2 times the size of the bun, and was a fantastic sandwich. They also have it available in an unbreaded, grilled version. From 11 to 2, Monday through Friday they have several sandwiches available in smaller portions-- including the tenderloin basket for about $ 7. The menu is extensive, with a large variety of sandwiches and entrees (such as salmon). I saw several huge burgers being served to other patrons, and I noted that the menu has many special burgers served with various toppings ( including fried eggs). The bar and grill is decorated in an Irish Pub theme, it was clean and brightly lit, with lots of windows. The lunch crowd was of a variety of ages. Based on my initial visit, I would say that I will return and would recommend it to...
Read moreIâm sure she was under a lot of pressure at the time Saturday Iowa Hawkeye football and all. I tried to do a DoorDash type of delivery from there and the app just kept kicking me out repeatedly. It was my 90+year-old grandmother who is wanting the pork tenderloin and so I was determined - I called directly in and the lady was just completely dismissive -said well youâll have to try a different app or a different service I canât take it over the phone- and she did so with no courtesy whatsoever. Iâm sure she was under pressure and may have gotten that same call three different times already - but had my grandmother not wanted that pork tenderloin I wouldâve never placed that order after that phone call because I had just gone through 15 or 20 minutes of stress trying to give them $50 worth of my business to call in there and be treated like I was putting her out to have her on the phone. The pork tenderloin was pretty dang good it made my grandmother sated. Not worth the aggravation...
