Hideaway Clinton — Restaurant in Clinton

Went here on a Friday night didn’t care for it to much, folks were young and rude.

10/10/18 In response to Hideaway from 10/4/2018, My age is irrelevant. I’m well beyond 25 , late 40’s . It was on Friday Sept.7th/14th, 18. We came in went to and sat down at a table with 4 females 2 heavy set blonde females and 2 others near the Dj booth up front. There was no one sitting at the other table that’s why we sat there. A few moments later after sitting down. I noticed them kept turning a make shift sign “ASHLEY” in our direction that wasn’t present before sitting down . So I took notice and was preparing for us to move elsewhere. But before I could even see where we were going to go , this heavy set female approached me assuming it was “Ashley” stating the table was reserved for her birthday and when the rest of her friends come we got to move . I informed her we were getting ready to move. I assume she wanted to put on a show for her friends what she didn’t know is I’m not the one for drama. Therefore , we proceeded to the bar, We wanted to place an order for wings and fries. Waiter ( Brown hair w/ ponytail snobby attitude) Asked how much is wings and fries roughly all together $15.00 ! I believe they came 8 / 12 pcs ! Large fries was $3.25. Okay she comes back with the wings no fries . The other party asked where are the fries , she says didn’t ask for fries , the fries were asked for when we ordered the wings! We understand it was busy this Friday night .Admit to your faults and say you forgot to place the order for the fries, instead of trying to make the paying customer seem as if they’re at fault. In closing, the Friday was not last...

It’s been a hot minute since I been here so I’m not sure if the bald headed blonde bartender there anymore. However the few time I had it I had enjoyed myself w/friends, Ms. Valerie was super nice. Found out she doesn’t work later in the evenings. Decided to go one night during the weekend and it was Packed! They do have security as well. I did find that the bald headed chick working that night seemed more interested in flirting with security than taking orders. I had order drinks and food and rather than put our orders in she continued to flirt w/security. Kitchen was getting ready to close and she had said I never ordered food which I had an hr prior to the kitchen closing just like our drinks. Luckily the man in the kitchen went ahead and made our order. When it was time to go she said I never paid my tab which started a whole argument which could’ve been avoided if she had added it to our OPEN tab. But no she was too busy flirting and never did Needless to say I wish I remembered her name and sure hope she doesn’t work there anymore (not that she was doing much work anyways) . May go back and check it out when a civil...

UPDATED REVIEW: I just went inside yesterday. I loved every minute of my visit. The atmosphere, amazing and attentive staff, the wings, the sound system, the nice crowd, and even the restroom with actual hot water running faucets to help me clean my hands properly:), totally mesmerized me. It got really busy at one point while I was there, so I had to wait almost 30 Min for a To-Go Order of Potato Skins and I decided to eat them in my car. OMG! I would wait forever now for these Skins because I have Never before had Potato Skins that tasted so delicious. As my main man Arnold would say: I'll Be Back to the HideAway real soon:) I am doing a pre-review because I have never been inside yet.....But their telephone customer service is great and I just found out that there is a Cover Charge every Friday and Saturday Night....Please call them to find out the specific charges....I'm looking forward to my first time full visit here soon so I can update...
