Went here earlier this morning to sell my recently purchased Chromebook because I realized I needed an upgrade in a laptop for work. I missed the 15 day window for returns from the store I bought it from so BEFORE I went to this store, I went to their website which listed multiple versions of Chromebooks being accepted. When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted by the agent at all. However, after about 5 mins, the man came out and he was very kind. He asked the agent if they accepted Chromebook’s and she was rather rude in her response. I pointed out the website to the kind man regarding the false advertising. He explained that they don’t have control over what’s listed on the website and I agree with him. He went above and beyond and asked the assistant manager via phone not at the store if they accepted Chromebook’s and he confirmed they did not. Even after I showed the man the website. It’s false advertising for the company as a whole. He did recommend that I go to a local GameStop but they also don’t accept Chromebook’s. Granted, GameStop does not have false advertising. My only complaint is the agent BEFORE the man that said nothing and was rather curt in their response. I would not waste my time coming here unless you have a commonly used device. Ignore everything on the website and just bring the item in. Most likely, they will not accept it. Avoid Paymore in Clinton at all costs! I had the misfortune of dealing with Paymore, and let me tell you, it’s no different than dealing with loan sharks or sleazy pawn shop owners. They prey on people who are just trying to get by, offering lowball prices and charging outrageous interest rates. The whole experience felt exploitative and dishonest. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and seem more interested in taking advantage of your situation than actually offering any real assistance. I came here and met Chris he was super nice straight to the point and offered me CASH MONEY NOT NO PREPAID CARD!
