Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Clive

I have eaten at many Cappriotti's from Vegas to Sioux Falls which is the best place to eat some Capp's btw...they were out of certain things to make a simple salad, no discount btw, asked for a simple request to have my sandwich wrapped for a 2 hour trip home so I could enjoy it later that night...I have done this many times in Sioux Falls and they always knock it out of the park, perfect every time, however this place was skimpy on everything...I mean jez I hardly had any lettuce on the thing, was there a tariff on that?? Place was not very clean and just needs a good owner to run this place....I will never be back here again and that's ashamed because I brag about how awesome this place is to all my friends, however I will steer them clear of this place, so sad because I love Capp's but not the Des Moines...

Tried this for lunch today. BIG MISTAKE. Worker at the counter appeared to be psychotically hung over or something along those lines. Two medium sandwiches (Wagyu French Dip & Cajun Chicken) with chips & a drink was almost $40. Not terrible if it’s good food. Unfortunately it was so disgusting, neither me or my girlfriend could even make it through ONE HALF of our sandwiches. French dip was dry (somehow) with no flavor in the Au Jus. I’ve had better from ARBY’s. Cajun Chicken was sloppy and soggy according to my girlfriend. The only reason I’m glad I went is so that I know for a FACT that I will never be intrigued to go EVER AGAIN. Go to Jersey Mikes and get a cold cut or just put your money in a coffee can. Either would be a far better decision than to give this dump a dime...

I love this place no doubt, I’ve eaten here probably 100 times, I tell everyone how great this place is, the manager even gave me coupons to hand out to people when they first opened, but today I had a different experience, I ordered online so I wouldn’t have to wait as long because we were in a hurry, however after sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes I went inside and proceeded to wait for about 20 more minutes as other customers were walking in and ordering from the counter and receiving there food before mine. A guy finally walked out and asked my name, I told him and they hadn’t even started making my order yet. What’s the point of ordering ahead if I can just order from the counter and get...
