Anytime Fitness — Local services in Clive

I joined Anytime Fitness and chose this location bc of how close it was to my place of work. The owner of this location, Justin E., is incredibly approachable and quite knowledgeable and has a passion for being a business owner and helping others with their fitness goals.

The bathroom/locker rooms are always clean and well maintained and Justin is very attentive and can usually be seen cleaning every morning.

The other members are respectful and there is adequate space to do your workout. It is never really busy so if you’re looking for a quieter judgment free workout space or you’re nervous about being around a multitude of others, you’ll appreciate the solace and privacy here at this location.

Like all the Anytime franchises this one is 24/7 access which is perfect for those who cannot make it to a group fitness class time or need flexibility around childcare & life.

Justin recently added a fantastic brand new sprawling equipment set that allows people to use multiple stations and even lets people use the same equipment for muscle groups simultaneously.

I have been going to this gym off an on over the last several years. The improvements made with new ownership are night and day. Ignore the older bad reviews on this gym. I work out here 5 days a week and the manager is almost always there ready to assist. Very friendly atmosphere and unlike past owners, this gym is now always kept clean. New management is also constantly trying to figure out ways to improve the gym. Recent new cardio equipment has been added and new additions to the weight area as well. I would also recommend personal training from Justin. His attention to detail on your workouts is second to none. He is not one of those trainers sitting on his cell phone while you train. He is involved in every rep. Overall I highly recommend this...

“No guests and smelled like poop” was the original review. After leaving it, 10ish minutes after I got a call from the owner who thought it would be a good and not-threatening-at-all idea to violate my privacy by finding my phone number and call me asking why I left the review. While his explanation of the neighboring business giving off the poop smell and the “no guest” sign was just being for people letting in other non-members who don’t intend on paying the guest pass fee is understandable if not a bit confusing. I would have definitely changed my review by a few stars if all of this was communicated to me through Google reviews reply system, but since the owner decided to call me instead I think I’m leaving the...
