I want to start this by saying I have never left a bad review before in my life. I understand mistakes happen, but it’s all about how you handle them. How this was handled was the worst, most appalling customer service over ever experienced. I Ordered online at 8:20pm, store closed at 9. Plenty of time to complete an online order. Picked it up and got it home. A #43 for my husband and a #31 (California chicken) for myself. The #31 was not correct. It was supposed to be chicken and was absolutely not. I called to have this corrected, the first girl I spoke to was kind and I thought was going to fix the problem. She comes back and tells me she can give me a refund or a sub card. I said whatever I just needed a new sandwich. At this point it was 8:50 pm and the manager of the evening comes on, says hello multiple times, to which I respond each time and then she says I’m not doing this and hangs up. I call back stating we must have gotten disconnected. She said she cannot make a new sandwich because they close in 10 mins. (Yet I could walk in and be served.) Mind you my husband was already on his way. She kept telling me there was nothing she could do for me tonight, in the rudest tone of voice. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not own up to the fact that they made a mistake and wouldn’t fix it while still being open. Never apologized about the situation once. Her attitude was honestly the worst part. Terrible customer service, acting as if I was in the wrong. When I had just worked a 10 hr day and just wanted something for dinner. Completely inexcusable customer service. After I said just give me the refund, she said fine and hung up on me a second time (which is a fireable offense in some...
Read moreIt's possible I just had a bad experience, and I rarely rate places negatively, but this was one that was over what I consider acceptable. The people waiting was standard for what would be a normal fast food places (arrived at 11:15am) but it took an inordinate amount of time for them to get through the line. Clearly there were quite a few choices but I saw very little presentation about options (i.e. bread type, extras, etc.). I ordered a #2, figuring going with a standard sandwich as it was my first time would be a good baseline. The sandwich when partly prepared jumped around between orders (online and in person) and I had to remind or confirm with a literal total of 4 staff which one was mine. I was taken aback at how much liquid was dumped on the sandwich (vinegar and olive oil) and it seemed to be an unmeasured manner (pour from a bottle). When going to wrap up my sandwich it spilled entirely apart and I thought about backing out at that point as the staff reconstructed the meal. At payment, the credit card machine looked dirty and something like you would find at a back alley store compared to a higher class sub experience. When I finally got the sandwich and unwrapped it, 30-40% of the contents were outside the sandwich. I ate outside and didn't finish as the liquids had clearly been too heavily applied. There was no trash can outside so had to go back into the store to throw away. Wholly unimpressed and if it was something I could return I would do so in a heartbeat. One would be able to get the comparable item at Subway (franchise chain that it is) at half the cost. I would choose any of the local options over this location for...
Read moreSome subs are spectacular, others not so much. The Philly Cheesesteak is amazing and the best we've had since actually being in Philly (though you can get a 12" cheesteak up there for half the price here!). Price is too high, especially since the chips or drink aren't free and there's no combos to add things in to save cost. So, it's expensive.
However, the worst part was the Roast Beef and Provologne sandwich. Literally the worst RB we've ever eaten, period. Subways is better (and we despise Subway), so that's really saying something from us. Truly just eating the meat by itself had NO flavor. I went searching for a salt packet, some pepper, or even some hot sauce but they offer no additional condiments. The cheesesteak was great, the roast beef deplorable.
Total cost $23 and some change for 1 giant cheesesteak, 1 regular RB and provolone (you literally couldn't taste any of the thinly sliced provolone at all, very disappointing), 1 free cup of water, and 1 regular soda drink. Very expensive. We could order a restaurant meal for this price and that roast beef was so tasteless...
However, we'll be back again but only for the Phlly Cheesesteak. Careful...
