bb.q Chicken Closter — Restaurant in Closter

This place has always been very good for weekend take out. However, I called to place an order for pick up at 4pm on Sunday(Feb 12 2023) when I got hung up twice by the same female staff who was ever so rude and unhelpful when finally got connected. She said they were very busy and could not take any more pick up orders until 6:30pm? I could not believe what she was saying so I double checked and she intentionally disconnected once again. I understand weekend can be very busy but I think better staff training is inevitable at this place if any already exists. There are other places to order Korean chicken and you will most definitely lose out on loyal customers with this sort...

RUDE/UNCOOKED Chicken/Order messed up The worker is very RUDE. He hung up three times while i’m ordering for pick up. I had a request for my order but he just hung up so I called again but he hung up three times and he said “what do you need!!!? Yo we are so busy tell me what do you need!!!!!?” And was going to talk and he didn’t even give me a chance and just hung up. The food is good. The service sucks. Folks have a dismissive attitude. Also the the hours online and posted on the store front are incorrect. On the store window and online they have closing time listed as 9pm. I walked in at 8:33 and was told the kitchen was closed to orders at 8:30. If that’s the policy then it should be posted. But also what would have taken to say hey this is the policy but you walked in 3 minutes after “close” so I’ll do you a favor this time.
