Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating.
I come in here sometimes to get a dairy-free, vegan pizza for the little ones.
They will change there gloves for you just let them know, you can customize your pizza, you can have them use a cleaned or different cutter.
I know the website says they use daiya cheese, but as all of us with daiya cheese experience know... Daiya is the nastiest and grossest of staple vegan cheese out there. I'm so glad they don't use that type of vegan cheese here, I believe it's by a different brand and it's so so so much better! It actually melts and tastes a bit like real cheese! So it's kinda cool that there's finally a place in Clovis/Fresno where we can get vegan pizza that tastes like actually pizza! And not a frisbee with sauce and veggies on it. Thank goodness.
The fired baking area is shared, with other pizzas so just wanna let you know in case that's gonna be a problem.
I have had 2 occassions where a bit of the ground crumbled beef actually found it's way onto my daughter's pizza which was a bit disturbing since we have an genetic immune system health related issue that makes us literally allergic to SO many different things. Including certain types of meat. As an adult it's easier to stomach when accidents happen but when they happen with ur kid and it could end them in the ER in worst case scenarios it can be frustrating no?
They made the pizzas right in front of me too with clean gloves so on those 2 instances I really don't understand how meat even got ontop of the pizza. It must have been transferred somehow.
I did notice that occassionally, the ingredients sometimes mix with one another, like there will be a few strands if mozz cheese in the red sauce bin thing, or some other veggie in another veggie bin.
And the vegan free cheese is right in the middle of where the meats are so that's a risk of transfer right there. It might be more helpful if it was all the somewhere near the veggies?
Well I'm just glad that the little one has sharp eyes and caught it.
I still love and recommend this place. Because now the kids can get "real pizza" and not a piece of dough board with the "nasty cheese" on it lol. No more...
Read moreWhile the food may be good and the building is nice, I cannot support this establishment simply because who runs it. The manager Anthony treats his employees like garbage, treats the men better than the women and overall is a horrible manager. I cannot support an establishment that is ran by such a bad person, talking behind backs and overall playing favorites and treating some better than others simply because of gender. The way Anthony runs the place isn’t good and efficient, and I can’t stress it enough how horribly he treats his coworkers. I’ve never seen someone act so rude and mean towards the others he should be building up instead of breaking down. Rather make him get his act up or fire him and get someone new, as it stands, his attitude is nearly impossible to work with and I’ve seen the employees nearly cry because of it. He makes them stressed out, angry, sad, and everyone that works there agrees...
Read moreThe pizza was good and it's great that they have vegan and gluten free options, but I was a little disturbed by the way the ingredients were handed. Bits of meat were in the vegetables, ingredients were picked by handful by the pizza makers, and even if they changed the gloves before they made your pizza, the previous pizza maker stuffed their gloved hands in the bin after touching the meat and cheese stuff! That causes cross contamination! I'm surprised they don't use serving spoons or tongs to handle those products! That should be basic food handling, even outside of the vegan realm! When asked what was in the gluten free pizza the makes said it was wheat, and had to ask somebody else, and all the info we got was rice flour. A list of ingredients would have been helpful! Over all, not a bad place, but for people with food restrictions, they need...
