We went for lunch on 10/17/25 and it started right when we walked in the door...the young guy who greeted us has absolutely no idea what he's doing! We asked if there was any food to order besides the buffet? (I had read that there was food besides the buffet) He told us no, just the buffet. So we asked if they allowed an adult to pay the child price because one of the guys had gastric bypass, and he was oh ok. So we were seated at a table, he asked us what we'd like to drink I asked him if he had a drink menu, he went and got the menu as hes handing it to me he says theres some starters! I look at the menu and I tell our friend they have sliders and other stuff you can order...(so they do have other food to order besides the buffet). So our friend orders the sliders but he asks for turkey instead of beef which he said was fine and then we ordered 2 ice teas, a modelo, and coorslight. I asked for lime for my beer as he's walking away he said he'd see if it came in a glass???? What? At that time we had a young lady come up and say she would be our waitress today and could she get us anything to drink? We told her the young guy had taken our drink orders she said ok. Then the bartender brought over our beers mine had no lime and the other was a Michelob ultra not the coorslight. That was corrected and I got some limes. Then we get up and go the the buffet....the salad choices were great as for the hot food there was a couple different kinds of pizza, Mac & cheese, chicken stripe, two soups (the clam chowder was tasteless and super thin), rolls, and several desserts and the carving station which has beef, turkey (super dry, even the guy carving it told my husband it was dry) and pastrami (which looked nothing like pastami and was extremely dry and had no taste) Well the salad was good and the pizza wasn't bad but it was like warm and the Mac & cheese was not even luke warm, it was gross. I've already said how the other food tasted so the desserts, my friend got one of each and she spit out every bite she took, need I say more??? The whole time we're eating out friend still hasn't gotten his sliders that he ordered right from the start. I finally told my friend he probably never ordered it. So we got the guys attention and asked him how much longer for the sliders? Awh....dumb blank look on his face ...he never put the order in, we asked to speak to the girl but he went right over to the guy at the carver station and was placing the order but we didn't want him helping us because we were sure it was going to be wrong. We were all finished eating and finally his Two little sliders were brought out and after all this time waiting he bites into it and he stops...the roll was pumperknickle roll!!! Who the hell uses pumperknickle bread. We talked to the waitress and complained that on the menu it says brioche bun NOT pumperknickle. The final nail on the coffin was the guy brings our check and he charged us for 4 adult buffets. WTH!!! We called the girl over and told her that the bill was wrong and she fixed the bill, did not charge our friend for his stupid sliders and also 10% off the bill which was appreciated but not near enough for us to ever go back. The young guy should not have been waiting on any tables he has no idea wait he's doing. The young lady who was waiting on tables knows what she's doing and we appreciated her help. The young guy needs a lot more training. We had driven from Lemoore for this lunch, very...
Read moreIf your looking for a high quality tasty buffet then this is the place. This is a very clean classy place. They have a bar section slash lounge with cozy little sections that you can have a private dinner with a loved one or friends. It's not noisy and the staff are all happy, joyful, wonderful people. The chef her name is Brandy she came out personally to greet us. My partner is gluten-free, Brandy asked her if she would like her to make a gluten free desert and of course the answer was yes, without hesitation Brandy went to her Office/kitchen then 5 minutes later returned with this amazing tasty dessert made special for her. All the food is prepared with the quality that chef Ramsey would be proud of and the homemade soups were yummy 😋 almost everything they made was Gluten free and as I mentioned the chef 👩🍳 came out and walked to each section letting us know what the few dishes were not Gluten free. Augie the bartender was super friendly and can that man make a tasty drink. I asked if he could make her a chocolate martini? Augie said, let me check what I have, a little while later He brings her this chocolate martini that looked amazing, after she took a sip her facial expression said it all And she said this is the best chocolate martini I have had. Like I expressed, if you're wanting to just stuff yourself and you don't care about quality, you might want to go someplace else like the all you can eat whatever it it thats supposed to be. That being said if you're wanting a very nice restaurant and very tasty food, that's top quality. This will be your...
Read moreWent to Dosans last night 11-3-25. This place was very inviting. You can tell a lot of work and time went into its presentation and layout. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You couldn’t ask for better service. They keep asking “how we enjoyed the food”. We said it was great but in reality it was mediocre and sometimes poor. If I had to predict its survival, I would guesstimate no. Such great people but they didn’t have the knowledge of what it takes to survive. I wish they would hire an independent group to evaluate their infractions and finer details to address. For instance; their silverware was like cheap army barracks quality, they need to address little details like their cooked potatoes (which is a good idea but don’t precut them because they’ll turn brown inside and unappealing), butter should be fluffy and easy to put in the potato, meat was dry and no flavor or seasoning, desert option should have been cheesecake NOT banana pudding. I could go on and on but I’m not a restaurateur. Every thing we tried just had something missing in its profile. The price was reasonable I just wish they would succeed but I don’t see that happening. They need to visit some of the more popular restaurants in town but I don’t think they have the ability to see and understand the techniques involved in a successful restaurant. Food quality is paramount. You have to invest in the right type of chef. Restaurant customers are picky and you have to be able to cater to their tastes. Wishing...
