If you come here and stick to the sushi bar and the "stir fry" station then it's well worth the trip. The problem lies in the rest of the buffet which has too many options, too many inedible options. Deep- fried fried french fries fried pizza Frito breading everything! They need to eliminate over half of the hot buffet and 2/3 of the cold section. There are too many options and I think the good stuff suffers because of this. When they opened a decade ago it was filled with what you'd expect from a Szechuan buffet, then they started adding pizza, french fries, garlic bread and twenty other fried dishes. Not to mention 15+ seafood dishes that are swimming in a pool of warm water, many of which are not edible. I know breaded foods fill people up but leave that for the orange chicken breading and let people fill up on RICE 🍚 I couldn't even touch the fried rice today it was all puffy and yellow..but the rice noodles were great. I love broccoli beef, theirs is 98% broccoli and 2% beef and the beef looks STRANGE, possibly textured soy protein; Cyberpunk af. Finally the cold section suffers the same problem, lots of options with no GOOD options. Lots of crunchy fruits that taste like water. This one is a no brainer but MOVE THE DESSERTS AWAY FROM THE BATHROOMS! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! I can smell Mop N' Glo while I'm using the chocolate fountain! The ice cream from the machine is made with soy milk or something, not good. Staff is friendly, the place is clean enough but the bathrooms could use some TLC. I think the price is fair.

So, this happened: Not only did one in my party see a roach on the sushi , YES ON THE SUSHI, but also, as I distractingly ate my dessert, to my surprise, I chewed a long hair. I spit it out and noticed it in the cake, not on top, IN the cake. I was completely repulsed by the demeanor of the cashier after I told her there were roaches on the sushi and I showed her the hair. She said, “I sorry, sorry, if I can do something, I don’t know…sorry… but you got two beer right? So, your total is…” and that was it!!!! We couldn’t believe it! Never again! Disgusting and inconsiderate! Sad, I wanted to like it, but it was the worst experience ever! If I could have given it 0 stars that’s what they where gonna get, but don’t have that option. I’ve attached the pic of the hair in the cake.

Despite reviews of rats and roaches, we rook a chance. Glad we did. First, they honor the military. On to the review: based on other's reviews, I specifically went on the look out for signs of critters... couldn't find a thing. I'll won't beat a __________ horse. The staff are professional, and courteous. Also quick to refill drinks, without asking. We went at noon on Sunday, a decent crowd, but not where it prevent you from chosing your entrees. The food was hot, and delightful for being a buffet. Further, they offer many choices, including sushi rolls. We will eat here again, as the food and staff were above average. The 5th star is nearly unobtainable for any restaurant, so it's not a knock on them in this review.

If I can put zero stars I would, don’t come to this place. We came to eat food and served ourselves and everything that was supposed to be hot food was cold and had been sitting out for hours. We a few bites of the orange chicken, other entry foods and it was very cold, hard and chewy like if it’s been sitting out for hours. Then we tried to eat seafood which didn’t even taste like seafood anymore, the first layer on top of the crab-cakes was hard and we still tried it. The food was all chewy and didn’t taste edible to eat at all at that point so we didn’t stay to eat their food. We asked for our money back from the cashier and instead of her reviewing our food on our plate she refused to return our money back. She argued with us for about 10 minutes and told other customers how rude we were which was very negligent about the situation.. When all we were asking was just a refund so we could leave and we did not eat the food from how unsafe it was to consume food that’s been out of hours. This is very illegal to serve food like that and you do know it. The cashier lady was arguing with us for about 10 minutes or more which served no purpose about not refunding us because at the end of her argument she said we had to talk to the manager over the phone. We had to talk to a manager about the situation which he was rude and very careless about the whole situation but he gave us our money back which that’s all we wanted so we could leave. My husband had to tell him how illegal it is to serve food like that, all the food had been sitting out for hours and was all cold. That can get people very sick and especially the seafood that’s been sitting out for hours too. The manager said for us to never come back trust me we won’t and he has a picture of us like if we were a problem when all they had to do was kindly give us our refund so we can leave. We will be calling the health department to take care of your restaurant which you shouldn’t be operating in business for the health violation you knowingly know your breaking!! To the business owner, Please read the California code of ethics for food violations, which clearly you don’t understand. Don’t come to this place unless you want to get food poisoning, they will try to put up a argument with you if you ask for your money back. That’s the only reason they gave us our money back is because they know this is a violation for...

I ate lunch here on Friday, July 14, 2023 with a friend of mine who had been here before and recommended it. Let's just say the less said about the food, the better. While there is a decent selection of items, nearly everything I had was just not right. While the broccoli in the beef broccoli was decent, the beef portion of it and the sauce it was cooked in was most definitely not. The sesame chicken was mostly breaded nothing. I stopped trying to find the chicken in it and didn't eat the rest on my plate. The BBQ pork was rather dry and a bit on the chewy side. The kung pao chicken was not very good either, being really quite boring. The chicken on the stick was just about the only thing that was worth eating. At least the deserts I took from the buffet were decent but it's hard to ruin jello and chocolate pudding so long as they are kept cold given then they both come in easy-to-make mixes. I like large Chinese food buffets of this type, but I expected much better than what I found here. My friend, who lives in Fresno and introduced me to this place, also noted to me his disappointment about Friday's fare, that it was better the last time he visited.

I know it's possible to find an excellent Chinese buffet. There's an excellent one in Sacramento and another in Yuba City and a couple months ago I ate lunch at a very good one near Denver, Colorado. I expected something like that here and came away very disappointed. That I can get better food at the Chinese takeout in my local supermarket or even, heaven forbid, Panda Express, and at half the price, says something about this place!

While the restaurant is clean and tidy, the music being played inside is too loud for my taste. Also, when trying to find out how to find napkins from a staff member, having to shout over the loud obnoxious music, I discovered that he "no habla ingles." But the people who greet you at the entrance, take your money, and serve your drinks...

Yesterday night was my second time returning to this restaurant. I couldn’t remember about why I don’t go to this place anymore till yesterday…. So the service was just straight up bad, the person that was supposed to refill drinks was acting like he was busy, there was only 4 tables of customers. Yet we been there for 20 mins, and my family member that sat on the opposite side of the food section said that the waiter was avoiding our table, yet goes to other table like nothing. Why? Avoid a customer table? Then before we leave, there was a table of Chinese family to our right side. And they were waiting on snow crab leg, one customer came and took all of them, and the lady went back to sit down. But the sever that was avoiding our table literally took a plate and went to the back room and brought out a plate of crab leg for them?!?! Noted that before that customer took all of the crab legs was because that Chinese family took all the legs first and literally had no manner. So what I’m saying is, service was unfair, I do not know if they were racist or what so, but they treat Chinese people like god, while everyone else get ignored. If your family member come eat at your workplace, you should still be professional and serve each and everyone fair. No special treatment like going to the back room grabbing fresh or expensive seafood for people. Might as well grabbed it for everybody?!?!. If I can rate this place, it would be 0 But nonetheless I will not be returning to this place. I suggest people not go to this place too, there are many others that is better...
