I want to leave feedback about the terrible service my husband received at the Boot Barn Clovis location tonight with the manager on duty. She was extremely unprofessional when I came in with a return.
I had the receipt, and the item was purchased less than 10 days ago. Instead of simply processing the return, she repeatedly questioned whether I had even bought the item there, making me feel like I was lying. She said things like, “Are you sure this is from here?” and “We’ve got to make sure it is,” which was very uncomfortable and unnecessary.
For the record, the receipt clearly showed it was purchased from Boot Barn. I was returning the item because the shoe wore out much faster than expected and did not hold its sole, which is exactly why I wanted an exchange not a refund. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she implied that I had stolen the item or was being dishonest.
This was insulting, judgmental, and unacceptable. I strongly encourage Boot Barn to better train employees, especially managers, on how to treat customers respectfully and professionally. The way I was treated tonight was not only disappointing but...
Read moreI came to this store to purchase my boots from work and I had gotten a transfer from one store to the store so when I came to pick up on person, I was telling the lady that I called earlier to ask if my boots were ready and I was trying to explain the best I can When this boot barn worker tall male staff came up to us and started telling me that online orders are different from transfer i wanted to explain that the best I can and he just walked away. He jumped into our conversation but didn’t even gave me the chance to talk. He was very rude. He wouldn’t even let me explain the situation when he only popped up on our conversation when nobody asked him to. Read moreWent in to get a new pair of thorogood work boots. I am I construction and have to buy a new pair every six months or so. They didn't have the composite safety toe. I discovered this after the sales person spent 10 minutes trying to sell me on a different boot. I figured I'd buy a pair of hawxs as a spare pair of boots since they didn't have what I came for. I got in line behind two other customers and waited about 15 minutes. Then a employee who was not the cashier said I had to go to the other side and get in line. The customer on in the other line saw how obnoxious this was and offered to let me go in front of him. I declined and sat the boots down and proceeded to leave. The same employee saw me leaving empty handed and asked if I "had any luck ". Disappointed to see customers purchasing 300 dollar boots treated this way. What a waste of time...
