Let me start off by saying the food here is great my girlfriend and I stumbled on this restaurant while waiting for our car at the Firestone on Clovis avenue we ate there two weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. We couldn’t wait until we went back, we finally went back today and sat at the first booth by the entrance. We ordered and got our food, half way through our meal our waitress an older elderly lady came up to us and said she was going on her break and that she wanted to close our our bill before she left which was fine I could understand that, but then she said the other staff insisted on closing our bill before she left to break. I have never felt so discriminated against, ever. I’m not the type of person to write reviews or make a big fuss but I’ve been thinking about this experience all day. Looking forward to a breakfast treat at a locals favorite. Some of my friends love this place! Ordered (to go) a couple of soft scrambled eggs with cheese for my dog and a breakfast sandwich with very well-done saugsage, over-easy egg, with side of very well-done hasbrowns for me. Disappointed would be an under-statement. The eggs were so hard topped with rubbery cheese my dog refused to eat them. The egg on the sandwich looked a bit too cooked, but edible. The sausage was barely cooked and the hash browns were, likewise, under-cooked. I took it back to point out the sausage was not well-done. The waitress said that was how they cooked it. I said I could not eat it like that. To her credit, she offered to cook another one with bacon or sausage links; I declined. She then offered to refund my money. That was not right either because they had made the order. I left them with the food a dog would not eat...
