10/10 food & atmosphere at The Third Place Global Eatery in Clovis, CA. âïžđŸ„—đŸŒżđŸ„’đŸ’«

Last night we chose this place for a long overdue family dinner and I’m glad we did. The restaurant itself is really nice. We sat inside but they have outside seating and from what I was told, a beer garden. There was five people in our group and everyone ordered a different dish. We enjoyed the Poke Nachos, the Mac (my dish that I gave a 10/10), their wings “Wingin’ It”, the Cubano sandwich, and the Pork Belly Sliders. Everyone raved about their meals and we were pleasantly surprised because the quality of the food was outstanding, the portions were perfect, and the flavor and creativeness of their dishes was refreshing. Who would have thought that a sriracha-strawberry wing sauce would go really well together? We all agreed that it’s been a long time where a restaurant impressed us and actually has us wanting to come back and try other dishes. We had the best and kindest server, Julie. She took very good care of us and the owners were very nice and funny as well! I’m not sure why this place has a 3.6 rating but it’s definitely incorrect. We can’t wait to check them out again.

Absolutely loved my dining experience at Third Place Global Eatery! This gem, located in the beautifully renovated historical Franco Building in downtown Clovis, offers an incredible selection of cuisines that cater to every palate. We indulged in the Bolognese Bucatini Pasta, Teppanyaki Bowl, Coastal Tacos, Ranchera Steak Fries, and the standout dish—the Lomo Saltado (Steak Bites). Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ambiance is lively and a bit on the louder side, which added to the vibrant atmosphere of the evening. The only minor downside was the vanilla soft serve, which had a noticeable oat milk aftertaste. A dairy option would be a wonderful addition for those who prefer it. Despite this, our overall experience was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am very good at noticing which menu items are going to stand out and for this place that was the oxtail grilled cheese sandwich and the vanilla oatly soft serve. Exquisite! Wow! I’ve had oxtail at a very well known authentic oxtail restaurant in Vegas and this blows that out of the water. So tender, not too greasy, and the bread tastes like a nicer version of a sonic grilled cheese bread (which is delicious and very nostalgic). The tomato sauce that comes on the side is like tomato bisque in sauce form. Yum! Compliments the sandwich very well and was the perfect amount. The soft serve exceeded my expectations. I used to drink Oatly oat milk daily because to me it tastes like white rice (delicious). This ice cream tastes just like the Oatly milk but better! I don’t know how to describe it but the way it was sweetened kept the authentic Oatly flavor while transforming it into a light dessert. I usually don’t care for ice cream, I’m more of a toppings girl, but I finished this happily! I didn’t get bored even though there weren’t toppings. The texture was the perfect soft serve texture too. I need to give the texture its own spotlight because I only like chick fil a soft serve texture. It’s a little icy, thick, has a slight pull when you take your spoon out, and doesn’t melt too fast. You get to enjoy the thickness of the ice cream for a bit. 10/10 for both! Suggestions for your menu in the future: Add a chocolate Oatly soft serve! Oatly makes chocolate oat milk already so it shouldn’t be too difficult. Also, I don’t know if you already offer this but black boba pearls would be DIVINE on the soft serve as a topping. Also the environments is modern and nice looking, I just wish it was located on a less busy street. The outdoor bar seating faces the street and in my time eating, 3 fire trucks with sirens passed. Otherwise, I love this place food is the best in...

We love this place! The Third Place Global Eatery is the perfect addition to Old Town Clovis. Let’s start with the good stuff, the food. Everything I have ordered from the menu has been fantastic. There are tons of options from sandwiches, pastas, salads, tacos, and small bites. Lots of protein options to choose from as well. All the foods we have tired have been fresh and delicious. My most recent meal was the crab cake salad, the crab cake was so delicious and the greens were very fresh. My husband always orders one of the burgers and he’s never disappointed. There are plenty of options for kids too, and my youngest is on the picky side. It’s quickly becoming a regular Sunday spot for us, and I plan to try something different every time!

We always come in with our entire family and the service is always courteous and prompt. The staff are more than happy to explain the menu and the ordering process, and to explain about the little cafe located inside where you can get tasty treats and special drinks. My older child goes crazy for the boba drinks and butterfly tea.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. The remodel of this Clovis landmark was top notch. The seating area is open and airy with a central outdoor courtyard. There is lots of seating with natural light, hardwood furniture and greenery making this spot beautiful and inviting. The courtyard area has seating with an outdoor bar and lighting. While I haven’t visited at night, we...

We’ve been loyal customers of Craft House for a long time, and I’ve never had to write a negative review—until now.

I came in with my kids on a hot 90-degree day. The owner seated us at a corner table and then completely forgot about us. For 20 minutes, we sat without a greeting, service, or even water. Meanwhile, a white couple who came in after us was immediately attended to by the owner—offered wine and beer samples, and had their order taken right away.

I didn’t say anything at first, but after watching them receive service while we were ignored, I politely asked the other owner (his wife) if we could order. I even said I understood they were busy and was willing to be patient, but it was upsetting to see customers arriving after us get priority service. She took our order, and I asked for water for my thirsty kids.

Then another duo arrived, was seated just a few tables away, and immediately got water, silverware, and multiple greetings from both owners. By that point, we had been there 30 minutes without so much as a glass of water or silverware.

It was frustrating, disheartening, and frankly felt discriminatory. I have the entire experience on video and in photos. My girls and I finally got up and left. After years of coming here, this was deeply disappointing and...
