I stayed there for almost two weeks I had a cat with me which I payed extra to have stay there and when I was trying to ask for an extension they said they were booked so I checked next door when I was informed by them that I was unable to stay there because rodeo lodge put me on a dnr I asked why they had told me because the towels were damaged my cat had an accident before I was able to get her litter box and so I cleaned it with a towel and placed the towel in the little garbage. So they considered that damages to the room you would think that is what the deposit is for there was no other damage other than the towel and the accusation from the cleaning staff they felt it should of been cleaner when we moved we left no damage to the room other than a little trash wrappers the room was not at all left in a state that would call for them to dnr me from ever renting a room from them or any hotel around them. This is especially difficult because the reason why we are forced to stay there in the first place is because the house I have lived in all of my life is now in probate after the loss of both my parents and grandparents there is a public administrator who I trusted to handle the estate for me I have cancer and the stress is too much ended up forcing us to sell my house so thanks to rodeo lodge they have made an already devastating time of my life even 100x worse I was already depressed displaced I took comfort in being at least in familiar area since I lost everything I own the only place I know as home it was the one thing that made my day better and livable I was close to home because of a dirty towel they are refusing to rent agian and I’m going to be forced to leave to somewhere iam not familiar with making my life that much worse I don’t know if I can handle this if I can’t I have rodeo lodge the ppl who pushed me over the edge because of a towel that I had a...
Read moreHave stayed here several times for weeks at a time. Great location friendly office staff. Great location and price huge rooms. Just a few things keep me from giving 5 stars. The cleaning staff doesn't speak English, the floors appear clean but I don't think they mop them when they clean the rooms because your feet or socks are very dirty after walking on them. There is ni sanitary strip on the toliet, but everything else is clean. There are no extra pillows or blankets stored in closet so if need one you have to call the desk Not enough bath towels they only have 2 so if more than one person staying there isn't enough big bath towels cause most women use 2, 1 for their hair and 1 for their body. All rooms have kitchens but they don't supply any paper toweling. Just little things but I really love the size of the rooms because I travel with my service dog and he has room enough to really move around and play a little on his off time. Would be nice if they had an additional strong lock on the doors, I often stay alone with just my service dog and being a women would go a long way to feel safer with an additional lock that can only be locked on the inside and I am not talking about a little chain lock. Grounds are kept very clean and the pool is too. I will continue to use Rodeo Lodge as my first choice and I hope they keep their prices reasonable for those of us who visit family from out of town for weeks at a time and can't afford to do it if they have to pay the price most...
Read moreAn adult bed bug walked out onto the mattress in my first room #117. Luckily, I travel enough to know not to put anything on the bed or floor. It was midnight. I had to pack everything up into my car. I was given another room and thoroughly inspected it, and found a lot of insect poop on multiple spots on the mattress edge facing the wall (#108). Reception offered me another room #227. No insect poop, so I stayed my 2 nights. It was past 1 am by the time I was unpacked again and could lay down. I had a funeral to attend in the morning. My new room didn't have the kitchenette and I couldn't use the tub as a tub - only a shower - because there was no plug. The bed was decently comfortable. The heater was effective, but very noisy. Sink was cracked. Mold spots or stains all along the bottom of the shower curtain. Red stains on the wall in a couple places? The curtains could only be opened halfway and when they closed, there was a 1 foot section of bright outside lights hitting the wall. If I had been put in the third room first, I would've considered it just another 1-2 star hotel with a comfortable bed and nice staff. I feel kind of exhausted after my stay and now I have to go home and clean and treat my luggage for potential bed bug contamination from...
