Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Cockeysville

The Jersey Mike's in Hunt Valley/Cockeysville really know what customer service is about. I had an issue with an order I placed through the app about 2 weeks ago. I reported it through the help email. The manager (I'm assuming) Ashley called me not once, but twice (the first call I missed). I called her back and she offered to redo our subs, free of charge. She was polite, pleasant and understood where I was coming from. The staff both times were very professional, polite and accommodating. I accepted the offer for them to redo our order, but thought to myself that they won't be quality and this is just a way for them to save face. But, I was wrong. They corrected the mistake that was made, made the subs as I originally ordered them and they were great!! I will definitely reorder from them again. I understand that mistakes happen, but nice to see they stand behind their product and follow through on their word. Way to go...

The experience was awful. Walk in rap music with inappropriate language playing so loudly I had to repeat my order 4 times for a bowl and he still grabbed a roll. Gloves are not being changed. Cross contamination is a big deal for people with allergies. I explained to couldn’t have condiments out of the station because he had touched something I was allergic to. One staff member went to the back and only got lettuce. After that the staff that had handled the mustard still tried to pick up my food and was told to change his gloves again. I asked to speak to the manager as my DIL is a manager at another location and I know things like this aren’t allowed. A young man told me possibly an Ashley but he guesses him right now. My husband and I just enjoyed two awesome cheesesteaks from Jersey Mike’s! I had the 17 and he had the 56 sans mushrooms. The cheese had great flavor and melted really well to give the cheesesteak a nice, gooey texture. The meat wasn’t chewy and tasted fresh. The rolls are freshly baked each day and were fluffy yet also had enough integrity to not fall apart. The staff were extremely friendly, had a nice chat with one of them. They let me add some cold toppings since I didn’t realize you request all toppings up front. We also had two cans of the naturally flavored root beer that had no high fructose corn syrup which is always nice to find.
