✨ Dinner Date at Cocoa Beach! ✨ We just finished the most incredible meal at Gregory’s Steaks Seafood & Pasta 🍷🍝🦞. From escargot 🐌, garlic shrimp 🦐, clam chowder 🥣, lobster ravioli 🍤, to a full seafood platter with scallops, mahi-mahi & shrimp 🌊🐟 — everything was perfection! Even their bread 🥖 was amazing. We couldn’t resist taking home extra clam chowder + peanut butter pie 🥧😍. Highly recommend & we’ll definitely be back! 💯🙌 #CocoaBeachEats 🌴 #SeafoodLovers 🦞 #DateNightVibes 💕 #FoodieLife 🍽️ #HighlyRecommend ⭐

Dinner and a Comedy Show. Beautiful when we first walked in, downstairs... But, then they sent us to the side entrance, up two flights of concrete steps to the upstairs area where the comedy shows are, when you buy tickets they send you upstairs to eat ... What a difference in atmosphere and vibe... Not in a good way. Waitress came over, stood in the middle of the tables, and announced to all the tables she wanted to go through all the specials so she did not have to repeat them. Ask one of the tables to listen up cause they were talking. For these prices I would expect a little more personalized service. The food, I got the $46 Delmonico Ribeye steak. It comes with sauteed onions. I asked the waitress if I could get mushrooms instead of onions. She said the chef is a pain and does not allow substitutions. For the side I asked if I could have just a small salad, no veggies or starch... She said no. I would have to pay an additional $8 on top of the $46 to add a salad. All I wanted was a steak and a salad. Strange already that dinner did not come with salad. Dinner came, steak with a mound of sauteed onions and garlic butter on top (menu says onions were under) the steak was so DRY. It was supposed to be a ribeye and felt more like a strip steak, so dense! I asked for an extra pad of butter (to help with the dryness) They chaged an additional $4.00 for that pad of butter! My dates shrimp and scallops were just awful. The scallops were hard as a rock. The jumbo shrimp were small and tasted boiled and like they sat for quite a while. We did mention something to the manager and they brought a few more shrimp to replace the bad scallops, unfortunately they were not much better. Sincerely we did not complain about food much, this was really bad :( Ok, after dinner our server told up to go over to a seat to watch the comedy show. The comedy show was Fantastic!!! But, the server never came back to us even once for a drink. Just dropped the check after the show. Seems like they are short handed? But still, no excuse for the terrible food. Sorry Chef. Not sure we will be giving the restaurant a second chance. If you go I highly suggest you start downstairs... Maybe it will make a difference if there are separate chefs? Not sure. Sorry for the negativity. Wish I would have read something like this before I went. Btw, it was not just us. We ended up befriending the couple next to us and they had a similar experience and did not enjoy the meal. Bummer. If this helps, please click a like. Ty! After posting this, I am looking at other pictures from otther people... Our food did not look ANYTHING like those photos. What the heck happens upstairs?!?! My steak tasted old and dry and hidden by a pile of onions on top. No garlic bulb, and charged more to get an extra pad of butter... Just crazy! It literally was a tiny pad of butter! $4 00! Looking at the other seafood photos too .. nope, nothing like that! Super frustrating for a $100 dinner! Notice I write 100's of reviews and 99% are positive. Takes a lot to be bad... Unfortunately this hit that mark.

Cocoa Beach seems to lack a selection of fine-dining establishments so Gregory's was one of our (and apparently the astronauts') few options. We were NOT disappointed. We made a reservation for a late winter Saturday night and arrived early to enjoy a libation at the bar. The bartender was friendly and I was pleased to see Warsteiner on draught. My wife ordered a glass of the house pinot noir. After this, we asked the hostess, the delightful Mrs. Bradford, to show us to our table. Mike was our server and he thoroughly explained the evening's specials. I ordered a refill and my wife asked for his recommendations for another glass of pinot noir, as she wasn't very satisfied with the house glass. Mike brought out two decently-priced options for her to sample, which was appreciated. My wife ordered one of the evening specials - a NY Strip topped with crab-stuffed shrimp and a side of mushroom risotto. I ordered the Delmonico ribeye but topped it with their peppercorn sauce instead of the blue cheese butter (as I despise blue cheese) and upgraded my side to a twice-baked potato. We shared an order of moules marinière (PEI mussels in wine, garlic and herbs), which was also a special for the night. The mussels were delightful, as are all moules marinière. They weren't served with enough bread for dipping, but we quickly switched to the table bread and weren't disappointed. The steaks were both cooked to a perfect medium rare. The peppercorn (au poivre) sauce was good but I personally prefer mine with more whole pepper kernels. The twice-baked was excellent - crispy on top and fluffy and creamy inside. The risotto was good but looked and felt more like of a mash. ... Needless to say, we skipped dessert after the above. I did take my leftover Delmonico back to the hotel room fridge and thoroughly enjoyed eating it for breakfast. Pricey? Yes, but it's fine dining and the total was actually less than I was expecting for such quality service and food. Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting in the future when we visit Cocoa again.

I wish we had read some of the reviews before we made our reservations. The only reservations we advise is towards what you might get if you decide to have dinner there.

My husband and I went there for a date night. He found the comedy show tickets online and thought it would be nice for us to go see a live show and a have a nice dinner before. When we arrived we thought we had reservations for the main floor dining area. We were told that since we had comedy club tickets our reservation was upstairs. From reviews maybe our food would have been better, not sure.

He ordered the ribeye and I ordered the stuffed shrimp and scallops. We ordered the beef spring rolls for appetizers. From seating to bread to appetizer, things were pretty good. Bread was hot, dinner salads were a bit small, but ok. Beef spring rolls were hot. Great start.

Then came the main course and things went south from there. Main entree meals were served on room temp plates and all the food was luke warm. The vegetables were cold as if they had been cooked from frozen, the seafood seemed to have sat and cooled a bit after being taken out of the oven. Definitely did not seem cooked from fresh. And the 16oz $44 steak… Gregory’s should not be allowed to be called a steakhouse based on this steak. I overheard the waitress tell another table “the lowest we can serve on temp is medium”. My husband generally likes well done but ordered medium based on what the menu said. “All steaks are cooked to medium unless otherwise requested. No recooks or refunds will be offered for medium well or well done orders.” After reading that he figured it would be easier to get medium and the steak would actually be light pink as one would expect in medium. I like medium rare and can do seared. This steak was over 50% RARE. AND SO FULL of fat and gristle. Over 6 oz was raw of the 16 oz steak. About 6 oz was fat and gristle and inedible. My husband probably really only had 4 oz of edible meat that was medium rare. Even for Outback, this was crazy undercooked! No way should any self respecting steakhouse chef let that be served. Here’s a hint chef: if you make a statement about no recooks, no one is sending back a rare steak to be fixed. We did tell the waiter after my husband ate the parts he could eat. I hoped at least half of the $44 would have been comped off the bill. It wasn’t. Here is your other hint chef: don’t expect people to bring up issues while there, not address the issue, and think a good review is coming. We started reading the reviews (and responses) while still at the table so we made sure to let you know while we were there. We even stayed for the comedy show. Plenty of time to try to make it right and not charge for raw steak.

Then there were the “grilled shrimp” my husband had as an add-on to his steak for $10. They were 3 small shrimp, barely grilled, and cold.

My broccoli was also cold when it arrived at the table. A few pieces were warm, so I thought maybe it was a batch cooked and set aside to be added for sides as plates were done. My husband was pretty sure it was cooked from frozen like his shrimp.

Decor: the 80s want their carpet, walls, and mismatched furniture back Ambience: turn down the pop music, it’s not a club Restrooms: the stall door didn’t even open all the way in the ladies restroom stall. I had to squeeze out and step over the toilet to exit. Service: overall the waiters were attentive and brought appetizer plates, asked if we wanted refills, etc. Their work and the bread and beef spring rolls is what made me give a 1 star overall. I gave them a 3 on service because I am honestly shocked that after serving that steak and cold food they didn’t bother to comp the meal in any fashion. My husband is not confrontational and never sends things back. Asking someone to consider having their steak cooked more when the whole meal arrived luke warm or cold, no thanks.

Comedy shows are not going to save this place. Call Gordon Ramsey. We dropped $200 on dinner for TWO and the bread and appetizer were the best part....

After hearing good things about this restaurant, my husband and I decided to make reservations for Saturday September 27th to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. We arrived at 5pm to have drinks at the bar and were seated at our table about 5:50pm for our 6pm reservation.

Let's begin. We ordered the escargot (one of the reasons we decided to come here). While waiting for the escargot, we ordered a bottle of Chianti. Usually it comes corked but this particular brand came with a screw cap. It was drinkable. The escargot arrives. It was over cooked, rubbery and served on mushroom caps sitting in a bland, watery gravy of some sort (typically, they are baked in a garlic butter sauce). All was lukewarm. We mentioned this to our server who we watched approach the manager and say something.

We then ordered a caesar salad which lacked flavor (the saving grace for me was the anchovies).

Time to order dinner. My husband ordered the skillet ribeye medium with pesto sauce (get it on the side because it's all you can taste) and a baked potato. Unfortunately, the steak was charred black, was fatty, full of gristle, lukewarm and inedible. We mentioned this to our server who shrugged his shoulders and off he went to say something to the manager. I ordered the salmon over spinach in a creamy sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was lukewarm and bland but most was edible (and I had waited all day to eat). The cream sauce was very watery and the potatoes had large chunks and no taste of garlic. My husband ate his baked potato so I wouldn't have to eat alone. Again, the server approached the manager and said something.

Or server then asked what we wanted him to do and asked if we would like some ice cream with chocolate syrup. HUH? At this point, I'm trying to save this celebratory dinner. So we decide to try dessert. I order the tiramisu (it is a favorite of mine and I order at restaurants all over the country when traveling) and espresso with sambuca. It was the worst tiramisu I've ever had. it was very dense (usually tiramisu is light and airy) and very little coffee flavor. Was more like a piece of pie. My husband had a piece of key lime pie and port wine.

Our complaints were never acknowledged by the manager. She never even stopped by the table. When people are paying premium food prices, they shouldn't have to complain. After spending $300 (inc. tax and tip), it made me sad to see poor hospitality. I still left an appropriate tip (it's not the server's fault for the bad food).

Chef needs a refresher course. I don't usually write reviews but we were so disappointed I had to choice. We usually give a restaurant at least a second chance (maybe it was an off night) but I'm a little apprehensive. After this review, we may not be welcomed back.

Response to Manager: We were not dissatisfied from the time we walked in the door. We mentioned it was our first time there. If we were not happy at the bar, we would have paid our bill and left. It...
