When I first arrived at the drive thru speaker, no one answered but there were cars at the food window so I waited 6 minutes before pulling around to the window. I then waited another 12 minutes before placing a mobile order. Another 10 minutes go by and I am finally greeted at the window by a rude women who tried handing me someone else's food. I told what I ordered and she told me I could NOT get a bacon mcdouble or a mcchicken after 11PM. The app tells you which items aren't available after certain times but those items were not listed. She then slammed the window and went to a kiosk were she removed those items without asking me if I wanted to order anything else. She came back to the window, shoved a bag of food at me and said my receipt was in the bag, then she walked away. After checking the bag, I saw two quarter pounder boxes full of chicken nuggets. I gently honked my horn to try to get her attention to let her know it was incorrect and waited 15 minutes for her to never come back to the window. I received cold fries, nuggets instead of quarter pounders, wasn't able to order anything to replace the items that "weren't available", a rude women who wouldn't come back to the window to fix any of my issues or take my second order of food that IS available. If she is a manager, she needs to be let go due to being incapable of speaking to customers at all, let alone with respect or politeness.
If you MUST go here, CHECK EVERY BOX AND ITEM to make sure you get the right order AND don't go after 11pm if you want ANY shot of an accurate order (or polite staff/...
Read moreI had just went into this McDonald's after work. When I walked in, I went to the screen in order to get my order placed quickly.
I only ordered a vanilla shake, and it took the crew 11 minutes to even get to it. There were a significant number of people in there and there had been one large order and a COUPLE of small orders that would probably be for one person (literally about 4-5 orders left on screen).
Coming from somebody who has worked in significantly fast and difficult restaurant shifts, that's practically unacceptable. A few of them had the time to socialize, but didn't really put in the effort to get food out quickly, nor to make sure people got their orders, NOR to make sure the orders had been correct/complete.
I found that I've waited a good 11 minutes, almost missing my bus to find the ice cream machine is broken. The cashier nicely created me a mocha frappe. The downside, which really got me, was the fact that my frappe just tasted like straight CHOCOLATE COVERED ICE. I've had many frappes in my life, but I don't know what to say. I might as well have chewed on crushed ice from one of their machines.
There probably needs to be a better staff, as in quicker and more urgent and well as attentive. This is my first time going here since about 2013 and this experience is outrageous. The ONLY reason I gave it at LEAST two stars is because the cashier made me a frap and of a larger size....
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the McDonald’s drive-thru recently. After giving our mobile order code to the employee at the speaker, we tried to order more items, but instead of taking the additional order, we were told to pull up to the second window without any explanation. When we kindly asked why we were being moved forward, the older gentleman at the window responded, “Give us what you don’t have — patience,” in a dismissive and unnecessary tone. He completely ignored our actual question and gave no real answer.
To make things worse, the large fries we received weren’t even filled properly — they were noticeably underfilled. I work in fast food myself, so I understand how stressful it can get, but I also know how important it is to treat customers with basic respect. That kind of attitude isn’t acceptable in any customer service setting.
Honestly, the way this situation was handled could have gone much worse if I weren’t someone who shows consideration for others, even when they don’t return it. I kept my cool out of respect, especially considering that he was likely older than my father — but that only made the experience more frustrating.
This location needs to work on both customer service and food quality. A little communication and respect can...
