Akhirah's Cafe — Restaurant in College Park

This small business is located off of Godby Road and Old National in a large shopping plaza. I definitely recommend checking them out. It's a very peaceful environment with jazz music being played through the speakers. You will find ample seating inside and a few tables set up outside. You can place an order online for pickup if you're limited on time or as soon as you walk in, you place your order and it's a short wait for your meal. They serve breakfast and brunch as well as sandwiches and salad and you can enjoy coffee tea smoothies and juices. The service was very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious and packaged with care. This was my first visit, and I had a vanilla latte with almond milk. The coffee was very smooth and strong and had a very good flavor. I also had the smoked wild caught salmon salad croissant. It was Fantastic! It was a very large portion. Fresh tasty wild caught salmon with eggs tomatoes lettuce on a toasted croissant and I enjoyed every bite. It reminded me of a sandwich that my grandma made with love. I definitely recommend you support this cafe.

We had heard about and planned to eat at Akhirah's for quite some time. First off, we were received with a very warm welcome. The ambiance was peaceful and calming with lovely art on the walls. It was very cozy. There was a handsome young boy (10 or 11 years of age) that took our order when we arrived. He was polite, and very attentive. The owners and the chef were extremely pleasant and attentive. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We had the (Veggie) Philly steak, the strawberry salad, the nachos...🤤, regular salad, Turkey burger, Salmon with veggies (the Salmon & veggies were quite flavorful and just right for tenderness) and the Lentil soup...🤗 Everything we tried was mouthwatering and full of flavor. I literally had to send word to the chef. The hot food was hot on arrival and everything came in a timely manner.

The boy took my order, and then served 2 guests who came in after me, first. When I asked, they pretended to not get the order even though I was one of 3 people in the shop, then they shouted to issue a refund and refused services

Terrible, very ungodly behavior

"The boy" is in reference to his age. I am not a white person, and the boy who took our order was not a day older than 16, max. A child. A boy.
