Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in College Park

It doesn’t get better than this when it comes to pizza in College Park! I came here for the first time on Pi Day when they have pizzas for only $3.14 !!!! I waited in a line that went out the door and around the corner and it was worth it (for the price). I got regular crust, Signature Sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. I sprinkled on some red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. This pizza was SO GOOD. I was perfectly cooked even with the big rush in the restaurant. There was not one bland bite, and the ingredients stayed together like a pizza should be. I also tried their lemonade and blood orange lemonade. I recommend either and the blood orange flavor wasn’t overpowering at all. I tried the s’mores cookie (it was cookie and drink for $3) and it was good but I wouldn’t get it again. The workers were doing great for having to deal with hundreds of customers that day! Everything was in order and the process was easy. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and clean and went with the theme and logo of the place. We were excited to try their pizza tonight - The ENTIRE order was wrong and when my husband called to get it corrected, the shift lead, JR. said he couldn't record it in as an incorrect order in the delivery system and resend the correct order. JR. told us he wasn't giving out free pizza, which we never asked for. My husband requested they remake the order and even offered to pick it up, which is not convenient with two small children- why we ordered with delivery, but JR. was adamant about not remaking an order that his staff incorrectly made.

The manager, Roman, allegedly was unavailable, per JR. and his reasoning for the error was that they were training a new employee, were understaffed and doing the best they could.

As my husband and I both are former hospitality employees, more specifically my husband as a GM at a pizza restaurant who knows how to handle these situations and tried to walk your employee through the process. Ultimately, this was a very unprofessional way to handle the situation.

I recently ordered takeout from Blaze Pizza along with a coworker for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.

The ordering process was smooth, and when I got there, I was informed that our food would be ready in 5 minutes. A brief wait wasn't an issue, and I appreciated the transparency about the wait time.

Upon receiving the order, I noticed that the boxes were sealed with stickers to prevent them from being opened. It seemed like a good measure to ensure the integrity of the food during transit.

However, when I got back to work and opened my box, I was disappointed to find a plain pepperoni pizza instead of the customized one I had ordered. It was a letdown, especially considering the effort I put into selecting specific toppings.

To address the issue, I reached out to corporate via email, explaining the situation and expressing my disappointment. Unfortunately, it has been two weeks, and I have yet to receive a response. The lack of communication and resolution from corporate has only added to my...
