We stayed at the Howard Johnsonâs across the street. (Donât stay there BTW) So we tried Knockouts for dinner. It was an experience. I think theyâre mostly a semi-casino. They have games of poker going on that Iâm pretty sure most everyone came for. There are two pool tables that were busy too. We were the only white people in the place but everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. Loud, mostly rap music and and comic shows on the big screen TV. The food was basic but good and good prices. BTW, as others have mentioned they allow smoking. I didnât know there was a place in the US that still did that. There was some sweet smelling stuff...

Masks were not required, so I felt out of place. We stood at the bar for a very long time before being recognized and spoken to. And was told to hold on then, and no one returned to take our order.
