Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service! Just ordered food from there during my layover and I will NEVER go back again.
Girl with long locs wrapped up in a bun (didn’t get her name) was ridiculously rude to me and other customers from what I witnessed. She got an attitude for the slightest of questions and making facial expressions as if we’re annoying her by asking simple questions. Even another customer called her out for her attitude. She also has a very unapproachable and unprofessional demeanor.
After roughly 15 minutes of waiting, I asked when my curly fries would be ready and there was no answer. So I asked a little louder and she said they were done. Meanwhile, she’s preparing food for a customer that ordered AFTER me. Why was I not first priority if I ordered first and my food was already done? She worked with NO sense of urgency so I was waiting 20-25 minutes from the time I ordered, to the time I actually received all of my food. Which was only 2 things.
There was another girl with shorter locs who I assume was the manager but didn’t even bother assisting to decrease wait time. She just kept going to the back doing other stuff even though there were people ordering/waiting. Only 2 people working from what I saw so they’re clearly understaffed which I understand has been an issue ever since covid, but these employees work at the busiest airport in the world and definitely don’t act accordingly.
I, myself, have worked in customer service for over 15 years so I know the standard when it comes to providing a good service. It’s obvious whoever hires these employees just need a spot to fill because an employee like that shouldn’t even be at the front counter servicing people, let alone working there.
I’d advise anyone reading this to not waste your time. Especially if you’re pushing for time getting to your flight. Thankfully, I had a 2 hour layover so I was ok. The food was alright but because of the horrible/unacceptable service, I will never go back. This place is memorable for the...
Read moreShoronta was delivering amazing good service this morning as she does every week. I choose Great wraps every week before my flight because I enjoy the egg and sausage wrap to get my morning going and the value it provides. This morning was a little different experience in that she is usually on the register taking orders however this morning she was taking orders and making the food as well. She never missed a beat. She didn't let the fact that she was working alone get in the way of her being pleasant and serving with a smile as I have come to expect from her. Three weeks ago I stopped by Great wraps for breakfast as I do every week and she was not in the register not taking orders she was making the orders. The gentleman on the register taking orders was the absolutely wrong person to have representing the company and it's values. He was not friendly, didn't smile, his arms were folded when I approached the counter, I felt like I was enemy instead of the customer and a loyal one at that. I missed her that day so much I almost went to another place in the airport for breakfast. But I didn't. Instead I shared that experience with everyone who would listen. The reason I'm in the airport every week is because I am a Leadership develpment consult for 30 years and work with clients all over the world. I have used her obvious pride in what she does as an example of what employee work passion looks like and how it is drives customer loyalty. This is leadership in action. I can only hope the leadership team at Great Wrap recognize this in her and vales her contribution to the the company goals, values and it's brand. Please take the time to recognize her for making my hectic travel schedule better when see someone like her who...
Read moreOn September 21, 2024, I visited the Great Wraps store #6068 located in Concourse A at the Atlanta airport. From the moment I arrived, the cashier, Sharonta D, greeted me with a poor attitude, which I chose to overlook as I placed my order. Initially, I requested the pancake plate but was informed they were out of pancakes, so I opted for the egg and sausage sandwich instead. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I saw how my food was being prepared. The employee placed the bread directly on the same surface where the eggs were being cooked, which appeared unsanitary. She then moved the bread and eggs to the prep station without any change in procedure. At this point, I politely asked her to remake the sandwich and requested that she use a proper barrier, like paper or another sanitary surface, before placing the bread down. Her response was met with visible annoyance, as if my concern was unreasonable. To add to my frustration, I asked for a cup of ice and was told they didn’t have any. I work at this airport five days a week and often stop by this location. Consistently, they are out of basic items like ice, pancakes, bacon, and sometimes even sausage—which makes up the majority of their breakfast menu. I can't help but wonder what the point of opening for breakfast is if they are constantly out of stock and the employees lack basic sanitary practices when handling food. This experience was truly disappointing, and I hope improvements can be made to ensure better service and...
