Y'all me tell you. That little Mexican cashier is a trooper, she was extremely nice and was smiling all throughout. Her eyes were red and she was sniffling so I asked if she was okay and she said she had gotten yelled at by the previous customer but she was trying to keep on a brave face because she was serving me. Y'all the reason she was yelled at was because the previous customer wanted to season her own food but didn't tell the cashier so when the cashier started to season, the customer yelled at her!!! I asked if she was okay and she said yes but that she isn't good with yelling because it scares her really bad. While I waited for my food I talked to her and my god, she's working the 2 part time jobs and 2 side gigs!! And that customer broke her down by yelling at her because she didn't tell the cashier beforehand that she wanted to season her own food!! Y'all please be nicer to these cashiers, they're hard working people just like the rest of us. She was being so sweet and nice, keeping up a smile and trying to make sure she gave me the best customer...
Read moreI had planned to dine in at Hook's Catch Seafood and Wings. The dining area was small - no more than six tables - and empty, except for two other customers waiting for their take-outs. I decided to do a take-out and ordered the whiting dinner that included fries, coleslaw and a slice of bread.
What I liked: ordered was wrapped in a paper bag (minimized spillage/mess) and then placed in plastic bag server was friendly and helpful: answered my questions and got me what I asked for (all the sauces except ketchup) plenty of free parking whiting was delicious, generous portion of fries, bread
What I didn't like: coleslaw portion size was disappointing, it's the middle side in the photo
Overall, I enjoyed the whiting dinner. If I travel to Atlanta again, I would definitely come back to try the other...

I got the number 2 combo, the chicken was my favorite, it was nicely seasoned, could do a little less salt. The shrimp were regular, nothing spectacular about them. The catfish was good, but could have been fried slightly harder as it broke up so easily. The corn nuggets were good. I would have preferred the crinkle cut French fries as they hold up better than the regular straight ones. Coleslaw was really good too. Also I didn't not like the banana pudding, no bananas and they used an artificial banana flavoring, I won't get that again. Overall is was pretty good. They replaced red snapper, so they have big shoes to fill. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because of the blasting music when...
