Cockroaches!!!! A friend and I went for lunch on a Thursday. I will keep the story short. There was no cockroach when we sat down at the table. When the rolls and drinks came there was a cockroach. I noticed it because my 4 month old was reaching for it. Waited 10 minutes for our waitress to tell her and she was nowhere to be found. I was getting more grossed out and impatient so I went to the hostess stand. I thought her eyes were going to come out of her head. She said ā€œI’ll get my manager right away and I’m so sorry that’s grossā€. Waited 2 minutes for a young man and paper towels to remove cockroach. NOBODY cleaned or offered to clean the table. Manager came by and said ā€œso sorry construction workers must have left the back door openā€, and that was it she left. My problems with how the situation was handled. 1. Took almost 15 minutes to remove cockroach 2. Cleaning the table was not a priority. I wouldn’t let my son touch anything in there after. GROSS. 3. Not listening when told it probably came out with the food because it wasn’t there sitting down. And was right by the rolls on the table. 4. Treating us like it was our fault THEY had Roaches! I have never been so grossed out and disappointed with service. YUCK! In the picture I set my glass on it to keep it from moving after a smash, because it was still kicking. And pushed the rolls away to get it further from food. Advice!!! If you still want to eat there make sure you witness them clean your table.

Very disappointed as I love Cheddars but the whole meal was a disappointment šŸ˜ž They have removed some of the best parts of the menu like ground beef from the queso, the broccoli casserole that has changed and did not taste that good. It was shoved in a small saucer which spilled all over my food. My ribs were so dry and it was like chewing shoe leather. My son's were better than mine. The croissants barely had any butter on them and we were not given any extra. I only took one picture sorry. We tried telling our waitress Lily but she said they must have changed things and walked away. We never saw her again until we were getting ready to leave. She was busy attending to the young man she was flirting with at the bar. She was also talking to the women from the table in the bar area and her young daughter who was at the bar (very not appropriate šŸ™„). She was sitting up and at one point was almost on the bar. So she did not care about her customers. She finally came up after I paid on the machine since she never came back. We never once received the ability to have a drink refill (never offered), or asked if we even wanted dessert. I guess she felt that since we had a machine to do her job for her than she did not need to come back. It was not busy as they had just opened but when there is a cute boy why not stay and talk to him...

Been here three times. First time ordered a steak, was cooked perfect, great taste, sides were on point, service was great after we were finally seated. Second time, apps were cold and came 2 minutes before our food. Steak overcooked; traded it for a salad which was ok but greens were older than they should be in such a busy restaurant. Visit three, my son's birthday dinner, we had some drinks. They were ok but more mixer and sugar than was reasonable. Anyway, ordered another steak, a tbone, but received a ribeye. They cooked me a tbone, there was literally, less than a finger on the filet side of the tbone and it was overcooked. I let them try one more time. It came out cooked ok (tbone is hard to cook perfectly) but the filet side was a joke still... But I was starving at this point. Steak was chewy and I only had 3 bites. We were tired of sitting there. Manager didn't even offer up a free dessert or anything for the troubles and since it was my son's birthday. I told the host and the server it was his birthday too... Not even a song or a scoppe of ice cream. We spent well over $130 for the 3 of us and 2 of the meals were burgers. Seriously.

I will preface this with the fact that we only went here because Roadhouse was closed next door and we were so hungry we figured what the hell, we never eat at Cheddar's. As our meal progressed I slowly began to remember why. Our food was delivered barely warm, not enough to really have it fixed or say anything, which I don't really ever complain or send food back so it does take a lot for us to do that, but it was too cold to really enjoy. My husband's side salad was so cold that it had ice crystals in it. He had the steak and chicken tenders plate, the steak was just not good and he was disappointed. The chicken tenders batter was soft, I think they had been done for a while and got soft and they were so so bland. I ordered the Chicken fried steak platter because that's what I wanted from Roadhouse lol.. The Texas toast was just toast, nothing "Texas" about it, not a big deal but with mashed potatoes and gravy I was kinda looking forward to my Texas toast. The chicken fried steak was so tough I couldn't chew it. The broccoli casserole was really good though so i was glad I subbed it for the green beans. The mashed potatoes were just meh and again barely warm. The croissants were the best thing we had so thankfully we chose to pay for bread, yep, pay for bread haha. We were absolutely starving when went there so honestly we weren't too hard to please and unfortunate they did not succeed. I thought maybe my standards weren't fair because I really had my heart set on Roadhouse, but idts though because I left 3/4 of my food on my plate because it just wasn't good and I couldn't eat it even though I was so hungry. I also left with the feeling of being kinda ripped off. Also I had to eat a bit later because I was hungry... If that had been Roadhouse, I wouldn't be able to eat until the next day lol. Was it absolutely horrible and I'm so upset, no, but we won't go back because it's not good and especially not good for a $40 lunch...

I really don't know how to rate my last experience here. Let me start off by saying I called in a To Go order. The young lady on the phone was friendly, upbeat, professional, and helpful. Upon entering the restaurant, the host, Ben, greeted me with a smile and warm welcome. He then escorted me back to the To Go area. The young lady who assisted me there was again more than accommodating. The atmosphere here is always welcoming, and the employees go above and beyond for you. Now, the downside of this visit, I arrive at work and sit down to eat my fish and chips (although I substituted broccoli and rice for the fries). The fish is a golden brown, I take a bite, and it is undercooked. Quite a bit undercooked. So I ate the broccoli & rice along with my croissant roll. When I phoned the restaurant, the young man who answered the phone (who will remain nameless) was pleasant and apologized for the undercooked fish. I explained that I wanted to bring it to the managers attention. I also stated that I wasn't upset but thought I needed to bring the issue to the managers attention for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, they needed to know that the quality of food was coming out of the kitchen less than the standards that I've come to expect from Cheddars as a semi regular patron. The young man stated that he "didn’t know what to do in this situation but next time I came in I could mention it but he didn't think they could do anything." He took down my name and phone number. To date, no one has contacted me. I think this this situation should be a training moment from management to front-end staff. Secondly, I would've appreciated management offering me a replacement meal since I couldn't eat the fish I paid for. I guess next time I'll be one of those customers and demand a manager and throw a fit until I get my money's worth. ...

First off: to be fair, we have eaten here in the past with no issues. So tonight, I took my wife to Cheddar's for her birthday. We ordered drinks, she a Painkiller, and I a frozen margarita. Our server took our drink order, and retuned shortly with a Painkiller, and a regular margarita on the rocks...not what I ordered, and the server was apologetic and went back for the correct drink. Due to the need to wear masks, and the rather loud sound level, I could see how he could have gotten it wrong. He came back, took our appetizer order and our meal order. I asked for straws but he just turned and walked off. After 5 minutes with no straws, we used the little electronic kiosk on the table to request our server. About 20 minutes later, another server spears with a tray that I thought was the chips and queso we ordered but was instead our meal. I asked what about our appetizer order, and he said no order for an appetizer was turned in for our table and offered to bring it or make sure we were not charged for it. I told him to cancel it, and asked for silverware (which should have been given us when we were seated - and which also contained straws!). Now, the food was good, no complaints there. I had a chicken tenders meal, while my wife had tenders and shrimp. But...she ordered chicken tenders with coconut shrimp - and got grilled shrimp, she asked for gravy and got ranch dressing. We were too disgusted to complain at this point, and I decided I was not going to be able to trust myself if I did. Cheddars has always been a good place to eat, we have never had such poor service, and I would still recommend them. Buy my wife's birthday meal, while not outright ruined, was this night sub par. We'll be back, but next time if we have an experience like this, the manager is not going...
