I’m usually not one to complain, but something really needs to change. This is the second time I’ve come here since moving back, and the service has been terrible. If you’re in management, shame on you for consistently understaffing and not stepping in to address these issues. Unfortunately, nothing seems to get fixed because people keep lining up for mediocre food and poor service.
The staff either look miserable and take it out on customers, or they’re just flat-out rude and unprepared. Today was a perfect example. We arrived around 7 PM, right before the dinner rush. The staff were scraping the bottom of the rice pans instead of simply bringing out more rice. They were also out of tortillas and other options because they weren’t replenishing them.
We finally got our bowls, paid, and sat down. By then, a long line had formed. When I went to get a drink, I noticed there was no ice. I asked if I could get a couple of cups or if someone could refill it. The girl working in that area—who was refilling forks and wiping counters—told me no, they weren’t going to bring any for a while. When I explained that I had paid nearly $3 for a drink and would like ice, especially with it being 100 degrees outside, her response was: “Well, you pay for the drink, not the ice. If you want, get back in line for a refund.”
Every single person around me was upset about the same issue. It wasn’t an unreasonable request—it was basic customer service. Instead of handling it professionally, she chose to give me an attitude. To top it off, right before her shift ended around 7:30–7:45, she came over to my table to tell me they were putting out ice “just for me.” Then she got herself a cup with ice before walking out for the night. Clearly, even she wanted a cold drink.
This type of service is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on both the staff and the management allowing it...
Read moreOrdered online at 9pm when restraunt closes at 10pm. When we arrived to pick up food, the line was nearly empty. The staff refused to fulfill the online order because they were out of several of our items and would not be making them because they were closing (I guess an hour early) and told us the only way to get a refund was to call a 1800 number.
When we asked to speak with a manager, the manager Blanca reiterated that they simply couldn't make any of the items necessary because prepping them would take too long. Items that supposedly would take too long to prep included shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, beans, rice and several of the protein options. So... essentially the entire menu...
As we tried to sort this mess out, the staff literally yelled to people walking in that they didn't have any food ready and couldn't serve them, turning them away 30mins-an hour before closed.
If Chipotle is going to condone not fulfilling orders after 9pm, not serving customers after 9pm, and can't even provide the basic customer service to refund the orders they are refusing to fulfill without calling a 1800 number, I'd highly recommend they adjust their hours of operation and prevent people from placing orders online. Otherwise, someone incharge of this location may want to step in a reassess standards and practices and ensure that the management are upholding those standards.
We will not return to this location. We took our business to Freebirds nearby and will do so...
Read moreFirst time at a chipotle. I was excited to try something new, but unfortunately, when it was my turn to order, the customer service I received from the worker preparing my food was pretty dang bad. She hardly looked at me, spoke very quietly, and wouldn’t repeat herself when I asked her what she had asked me. I wouldn’t have minded too much, as that was simply the interaction I had to put up with, and hopefully it shouldn’t have affected the food. However, how she made my burrito was also horrible. Every type of food included in my burrrito was sat in its own little unmixed pocket in different sections of the burrito. Food was also spilling out the edges and the burrito and smeared all on the sides as it wasn’t even fully wrapped shut. I hadn’t ordered that many ingredients, and when I got home I had to remake it all because of how incredibly badly it was mixed. I also (with no burrito wrapping knowledge) easily wrapped the burrito drastically more shut than how it originally was, so the filling was not the issue. In the end, the service was bad, the product was very low quality, and unfortunately the food wasn’t even really worth it, I could make a better burrito out an HEB spice packet, a few canned food ingredients, and an avodado. Not...
