If this place ever gets shut down for good it would be the best day for travelers. Not only is the service at this hotel awful, they are rude, unhelpful, uninviting and just down right bad. The rooms are tiny, disgustingly dirty and so old. The bed situation is awful. I would love to say something positive but honestly there is nothing positive. This place is a dump. From the front desk check in to the room there is nothing nice to say. The food served at breakfast is literally something you would see fed to rabid dogs. It was utterly nauseating and so gross. They screwed up and out me in the wrong room, when I got upset that they wouldn’t switch me to the correct room which I paid extra for, they said you need to figure it out with whoever you booked with. Instead of offering to help figure something out. Then when I got upset (rightfully so I had just travelled with my family and were exhausted), she says that’s it you’re making a scene you are not allowed in this hotel and if you don’t leave I am calling the police. So naturally I left and then went back in with my tail between my legs to apologize because clearly they have no way of accommodating people so I have to bend over backwards to make them feel better for getting upset. They did nothing to accommodate, they were rude, unhelpful and terribly managed. The hotel is disgusting. I have stayed at Homewood suites all over the country and never have I had an issue before and any issue that may have come up was quickly resolved by staff. We asked for an additional blanket and it literally was like asking them to donate an organ. It was so difficult for them to help. They sit at the front desk stuffing their faces and even when someone approaches then they don’t even look at you. The room was horrific. Broken sofa bed, literally like sleeping on springs made of sharp nails. Bathroom was gross. Hair in the tub, urine around the toilet, dust all over every surface and to top it off the garbage was full when we got in the room. The room has a musty mildew smell and looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks. I didn’t even bother saying anything because knowing them they would have gotten their feelings hurt and kicked me out for saying something. This place should be shut down!!!! Never will I stay here again. I had to leave unexpectedly early (literally 2.5 hours after the documented checkout time) due to an emergency. I asked for a prorated refund since I did stay a few hours after checkout. Of course the response “ oh I have no control of that you will have to call customer service”. They are so lazy and so unhelpful. Never again will I stay here and will make sure anyone I know visiting college station...
Read morePlease do not book this hotel unless you want to be severely disrespected by the management!!! It is insanity that Jamie and Christina are still employed at this hotel. They are the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I have ever encountered in my life. My family stayed at this hotel and were charged $150 prior to their arrival, even though we confirmed with Christina (manager) MULTIPLE TIMES that a prepayment would not be required. Then, when we arrived for check in, Jamie claimed we owed more than the agreed price. When we informed Jamie about the prepayment, Jamie stated “No no no, nobody called you. Nobody would do that here.” She blew us off, refused to listen, refused to explain the transactions we had been charged, and refused to explain why the cost increased upon arrival. Jamie also yelled “Step aside! I have other customers!” when new people walked in, completely disregarding the conversation we were having with her. Jamie said “Christina will be here tomorrow morning. She’ll deal with you.” Well when the next morning came, we received an email from Christina stating she was going to be out of work for the next few days. So she never helped us. Fast forward a week later, we were charged an extra $108 even AFTER our entire balance was paid AND we received a failed transaction for $188. And yes, we tried contacting their higher ups who also showed ZERO sense of urgency to resolve the situation. Ultimately, we were treated like absolute scum by this con-artist excuse of an establishment, and I’m not surprised to read other reviews expressing the same dissatisfaction with...
Read moreLet me save you time...DON'T BOOK HERE. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and television announcer, which only means I'm in Hilton hotels every week of the year. I made the switch from Marriott to Hilton when they made the wise decision to put Peloton bikes in all their hotel brands. I had to announce a college basketball game at TX A&M and was booked into this property. It's one of the worst maintained properties I've ever stayed in, but since I was there for just two nights, I stuck it out. There were stains all over my room: the inside and outside of the microwave, the outside of the refrigerator and the inside of the cabinets. They were food stains with the exception of the hair in the refrigerator. I still can't understand that?! The bathroom tile is breaking up and the baseboards are molding. I had to go through four shower towels before I found one without hair embedded in it. The carpet is dark color and worn, so I covered it with Lysol. There was food crumbs all over the stairwell and floors. The gym is basically a large closet with 2 treadmills and the aforementioned Peloton bike. Needless to say, I'll be contacting our Travel Dept and requesting this property be taken off our hotel list. I don't enjoy writing these type of reviews, but clearly this is a poorly managed property. I'm sure I'll get a response asking me to contact customer service, but if Hilton really cares, they'll contact me and all other customers directly. I'm not going to waste any more time on this property and will not be back for any more events I...
